The app stopped syncing. Moreover, very often when you edit a dive, the app goes back to the main screen. From a premium product, I would expect more.

Ook niet na het updaten van de app, wat is er aan de hand? En hoe hebben eerdere gebruikers die hetzelfde probleem hebben (lees ik in de reviews) dit oogelost? App verwijderen en opnieuw installeren?

Suunto needed a lot of years to build and support a nice flowing App. For two years now I can say it works pretty well. I enjoy using Suunto App a few times a week when a log some of mij sports adventures.

Since the last update the SAC air consumption is not in the app anymore. I miss it!
Nice app to add pictures and names/locations to my dives.

I use the Suunto app as my dive logbook. Today I suddenly had to accept sharing additional personal information like location and health data. Because this would be somehow required for essential functionalities. I don’t see why this would be essential, it worked fine for me for years without sharing my personal data. More so because Suunto will share it with China as specifically mentioned in the terms of this app.
Main question now is, how can I access my dive logbook without accepting these new terms?

Took a while, but the sync issues between my Ocean and iPhone 17 pro are now fixed. Thanks.

Deze app is haast noodzakelijk voor het gebruik van mijn Eon Steel duikcomputer. De verschrikkelijk onoverzichtelijke interface is voor het gebruik van een dergelijk instrument vervelend om te gebruiken. Het prestatiegerichte van de app is voor duiken ongepast. Ik zou graag een nieuwe versie van de duikmanager zien.

Prima app verder alleen het synchroniseren van bijv je stappen naar Apple Gezondheid werkt niet ondanks alle opties die ze geven. Vermoed toch een bugg die opgelost moet worden.

I updated the app. And after that I can’t download activities anymore from my watch. This software is so incredible low level quality. Slow. Bugs. New bugs. Changed you don’t want. They head in the wrong direction.

It’s not possible for me to open the app since last update. Using an iPhone 8 Plus. Please help!

Did a hike tour. Suunto app required a mandatory update. Sync failure at optimizing gps stage. Hike Activity not uploaded. One day later. Other data (sleep, heartrate) is synced. Also new activity is synced. Hike activity not. Still the sync failure message

Peak Pro 9 synchroniseert sinds 9-9-2025 niet meer. Daarvoor nooit problemen gehad.

coming from g*rmin, this app feels light and easy to use. all info is there. I love it!

Suunto geeft dus letterlijk al je data aan China (maar is er in ieder geval open over)

Love the Suunto App it’s minimalistic and clean a bit a mixture between Apple iOS and Strava. They lissen to customers to update the apps and product and I love the outdoorsy approach of Suunto. For me way better than Garmin and also above Coros and polar.

After last update planned runs don’t sync with watch anymore. Normally planned runs show up automatically at the day of event, but not anymore.

I bought a Suunto watch, because I like the design of it. Unfortunately the app and it’s UI are very poor. It lacks a great usability and the options are very limited.
It looks like Suunto don’t want to interact with other platforms and closes itself from the outside world.
Example: it’s not possible to import activities from other devices and platforms to the Suunto app. Why?
Another example: if you manage to connect with another platform, it’s not possible to disconnect afterwards. There is a button, but it doesn’t work.
Third example: if you plan a workout you can plan it on a specific day. But the workout doesn’t show up in the calendar. So what the purpose of planning a workout if you can’t see it in the calendar?
Suunto ignores the end user and their needs, by not involving them in development of the product.

Voordeel: het grote amoled display.
Nadeel: trage software, trage en slechtwerkende GPS. Horloge update niet automatisch met telefoon, moet je altijd handmatig doen. Natte vingers? Dan werkt je touchscreen absoluut niet, waardeloos. Scrollen met de kroon is dan je alternatief, maar niet handig als je in het water ligt met je surfspullen. Kompas calibreren.. supertraag en omslachtig. Te weinig keus in meldingen aan of uitzetten… and so on…
Geen herhaal aankoop waard..
