This game purposely sabotage your progress to force you in to spending money. If you are a keen observer you will notice a few things. When you’re advancing to a higher tier the game will set you up to fail. It will purposely give you bad cards while your opponent gets one great card after another to seal the victory. You can prepare your deck and will have enough cards with 4 mana or less yet when the game start your deck is filled with cards that are 7 mana or more. And when you exchange a card you will still get a high mana card making your turn to play obsolete. So basically you will have to handover the turn. By the time you get a good card the opponent already has the advantage on the board. Also a MAJOR issue to this game is the recycling of cards. You will face opponent who will use a card and 2 turns later they have the same card again without having to use a card to quickly recycle cards. Example opponent will place a temple you destroy the temple with a long range card. 2 turns later the opponent has the same temple card while your long range card will take his sweet time to recycle. Of course it can happen, but with this game it happens in a very suspicious way. These are a couple of the biggest flaws of this game. It can sabotage your progress by making sure you cant play any cards for several turns or ff you over on the recycle. And to make matters worst they will pair you with crazy high opponents with cards that you havent unlocked yet. So very often it will be a sure to fail mission. This game looks great and it had the potential to be one of the greatest games ever but blew it with their sneaky sabotage methods. Such a waste. Please do not spend any money on this game it will be frivolous.

You really need to work on optimising your deck to make the best outcome possible and to adapt to your opponents. I have played this game for many years and I absolute love it.
The only thing that really sucks is that if u have a card maxed out u still can get that card and miss the chance of getting a card u do need. Maybe u can get some kind of refund in coins or fusion stones that would be nice.

Hope with the new “focus” you will find ways to replace the ads. I suggest a slightly cheaper season pass.

Andere reviews die ik zie zeggen dat het teveel pay to win is of er jaren in stoppen, dit komt omdat de tanks resetten om de zoveel tijd en mensen met sterke kaarten opnieuw de tanks in moeten klimmen, voor de rest is het een top spel en moet je gewoon tegen je verlies kunnen want je komt ook tegenstanders van eigen niveau tegen

A game full of tactical plays and decision making. Fun for people that like deck building type of games. Normal modes are nice to play and actually have a cool feature where your card levels can be held back if you play in lower elo, going against high level players in the lower elo. Improvements can be done on the special mode, draft! Here you have a chance of playing against an opponent with higher level troops then you and it makes for an unfortunate experience. Cool game and glad it still exists!

(Almost) all cards are balanced. f.e I can’t beat PROJECT PH03NIX. But I’m glad that this is not pay to win. Great offers in the shop, sometimes the matchmaking is unfair (like I had to battle a person within the top 1200, I’m silver 5 btw.) But that’s alright. There are zero flaws within this game. All kingdoms are very fun to play and have their weaknesses.
The only trouble I have with this amazing game is:
-trying to start a new account.
Everytime I uninstall the game and reinstall it. I get back on the account that I don’t use. Even when I changed my email. It doesnt work. Perhaps it’s my gamecenter. But anyways.

Playing this game now for a number of years and really love it. It has great creativity in the game, cards and by the players themselves. Compliments to the developers and the strategy team and keeping this game renewed overtime.

Love the game. The music and sound effects fit really well with everything and the art on the cards is great. The game also functions well and its easy to learn, hard to master. Also well done that you can press on units on the bord to check what their ability is.
Could i please not get matched against shadowfen anymore tho (this is a joke lmao).
I feel like nobody really likes playing against shadowfen, and the shadowfen cards are also really good. The one 7 mana card that converts a unit of the enemy with 8 or less strenght to your teams is insane for defense, because your opponent loses the ground he got and it protects the tile and its good for offence because you can convert a unit like veterans of war on their side of the bord to your side of the bord and get all the ground to start attacking.
Aside from some cards being kinda OP, game design is hard, so its fine. Keep it up devs! You guys are doing great!

I love it that this game has great graphics and awesome cards / original mechanics and all, but there are just basically no gamemodes where you can keep playing and actually progress. Now, if you get stuck at your rank (since everyone is out-leveled) the only thing you can do is wait for missions or pay for progress, which a game like this shouldn’t need. This game is great if you don’t make it pay2win and instead add a big variety of gamemodes.
Just wanted to give my thoughts towards the game. It’s a great game though and I love playing this game now and then!

... NOT downloading this game. It’s seriously bugged and I regret putting money into it. -5 stars

When I started playing Stormbound a few weeks ago, I seriously enjoyed it and even considered putting some money into it - to support the devs of course ;)
Soon, however, the bugs appeared, for example, ‘freezing’ my turn repeatedly every 2-3 battles - the timebar strangly remains red - with the result that my opponent gets two consecutive turns. Remarkably, this mostly happens during ‘essential’ battles - hopefully this is just coincidence. Nevertheless, it’s highly frustrating losing a clearly won battle this way and subsequently lowering in rank.
At first I thought my internet connection could be the culprit, but now when this bug occurs and I check my connection nothing’s wrong. Too bad, this game has a lot of potential...

It’s a great game with a variety of units.
One minus point is that the game keeps quitting on my iPhone 5s

Speel dit spel al een tijdje. Fijn dat het turnbase is. Mooie stijl en veel mogelijkheden.

The game is perfect, beautiful graphics for what it is, awesome gameplay, have a glitch with my missions(doesnt seem to complete, eventhough i have completed it multiple times) but other then that the game plays smoothly and fast. Am only missing a possibility to add apponents to friends. would be really cool

Het spel zit echt best heel goed in elkaar maar het verschil tussen wel of niet betalen (of jaren er in stoppen) is echt belachelijk groot. Je kan tegen iemand spelen die dezelfde kaart als jij speelt voor dezelfde mama kosten maar dan soms wel 10 sterker.

Hahaha this is the only game I play, and it is almost every day. There are only adds for something in return, never in between games. And offcourse the graphics have a great wow factor. Everything is well balanced in design and thought.
