Speechify tekst naar spraak

Full of bugs. Starts in the middle of the page. Cannot move to beginning. Basic Words are not recognized correctly and pronounced wrong … etc etc

I tried the app but soon realized all is in english (not my native language). I stopped my subscription immediately but Speechify keeps on charging my creditcard. Within a couple of months I noticed 3 times I paid: november, february and may for the same subscription while I cancelled all in november. Meanwhile they want me to pay again if I want a subscription. I want stop everything but cannot find or contact customerservice. Hope after this review someone can help me to get my money back.

Ik zou deze app alleen gebruiken voor Engelse teksten. Het aanbod “Nederlandse” stemmen is heel karig en, zo te horen aan de foute uitspraak van een van de twee mannenstemmen: Finn, zijn het geen native speakers. Ook klinkt het allemaal wat ‘Ai-blikkerig.’ Wel geinig is het om je Nederlandse tekst te laten voorlezen door bijvoorbeeld Snoop Dogg of door iemand met een Pools accent, maar zoiets is ook maar één keer leuk… Dus: ik ga geen abonnement nemen en wacht even tot er meer Nederlandse leuke stemmen tussen zitten.

I've been using speechify for a long time and it worked just fine. But since a couple of weeks it's been skipping random parts of my texts without any reason. Sometimes it's a couple of words but other times it's entire sentences. This is extremely annoying.

Ik kan alleen de stem instellen en daarna loopt de app vast op het tempo. Ik heb er dus helemaal niets aan.

The reading aloud for Dutch documents isn't good. Many words are mispronounced. It's distracting when listening. And I find the subscription very expensive.

Spend at least 10 minutes setting it up to just be asked for hundreds for a bare minimum text to speech.

Even paying the premium rate, speechify limits your monthly use of paid voices (the only reason I use it). Have unsunscribed immediately. 1*

They claim to give you a free 3 day trial. I unsubscribed on day two and already two times they tried to rob substantial amounts of money off of my bankaccount saying I asked for a premium membership. So make a screenshot of your unsubscription and any other transaction, because they will try to rip you off. Besides that, the app doesn't do at all what is promised. Trying to connect this software with anything really will give you a SBBOD

After a smooth onboarding and setup, you are hit with awful, high-speed 90s robot voices. A deceptive app! Deleted immediately.

Ik wil juridische artikelen voorgelezen krijgen in het Nederlands. De stem is op zich prima, maar de intonatie slecht. Juridische begrippen en afkortingen leiden tot onderbrekingen in het voorlezen. En steevast worden voetnoot nummers uitgesproken, ook als voetnoten uit staan. Engelse quotes worden niet in het Engels voorgelezen. Niet echt goed te volgen dus.

The introductory text that appears when launching the app is unskippable, which becomes frustrating over time. It would be much better if users had the option to skip it entirely or at least adjust the playback speed (e.g., 2x). This aspect really needs improvement for a smoother user experience. I deleted the app after couple of tries. I dont have time to listen all of them, sorry :)

These folks scammed me out of my money. They charged me even though i cancelled the free trial the same day I signed up for it! They charged me a full year!

3 Dagen uitproberen, dan 150 euro voor een jaar. Behoorlijk aan de prijs. Daarnaast kan ik mijn boeken vanaf Ibooks niet importeren, Kobo kan ook niet geimporteerd worden. Kindle wel weer, maar die gebruik ik niet.

Er had ook kunnen staan: duurt maar een uurtje, want na de mededeling ‘duurt maar een minuutje ‘ gebeurt helemaal niets meer, ook niet na een uurtje…

Hey guys, maybe you have a good app and maybe it is a brilliant product but unfortunately many folks like me who come to App Store and up buying your app will not stand minutes and minutes of unnecessary non-skippable intros about the number of voices you offer. Many of us will uninstall wat before that, check ur stats and sort this out if you want a a chance to become big! Simple. Take care
