SIXT rent, share, ride & plus

Which ever way I use to log in, the only things happening is button goes in loading state with a spinner. No problem on web

Sixt Share has a great fleet of (non conspicuously branded cars) that i can choose from - with a 24/7 service to back up. Would recommend!

Every time there is an app update you need to login again. Emails with password code don’t arrive etc.
Update: now the app doesn’t work anymore when using share. Blank page when selecting car. Mostly use alternative service.

Worst company for car sharing ever used, I can’t access my account anymore for no reason, the most bizarre thing is that when you contact customer support they won’t give you an explanation, they literally answered by saying “you are account is blocked and don’t ask the reason “

Been a client for years. Suddenly asks me to reupload my documents. I do it. It says it went well. Need to wait before getting a car. Without any error message keeps on asking me to reupload. After 2 months I contact their service. I get the info that driver license from portugal is not possible to upload. This after 5 years of being a client. oh well, at least i safe money by using the competitors.

Fix your confirmation email while logging in. Fire your braindead product managers who have put a 2 minute timeout for the input code. The email takes 5 minutes to arrive, app only allows to wait for 2 minutes. Result - can’t log in and spend money with you. Lost revenue for Sixt.

IK kon de knop voor de stoel niet vinden, beetje lange arm. Voorganger was een giraffe
Kon de auto niet afsluiten want schuifdak stond open. 5 minuten gezocht naar die knop: kassa
Dashboard is eigenlijk te ingewikkeld vanwege de 1000 knopjes.

This is the first time I am writing a review. The review is about the Rides option in this app, eg airport transfer after a flight. The app suggests there is a paid wait after the free wait. However, this is NOT the case. If you arrive at JFK and you experience a delay at border control (which does happen) then not only do you have the nuisance of a long wait at border control but to top it off after the free wait Sixt sends you a message that you are a no-show, claim you did not contact them even though you did, and will charge you the full fee for transport they did not provide. No attempt to wait even a few minutes, no answer to request for explanation. Even though the app will send a real-time notification stating 'Additional time will be charged,' the driver will cancel anyway. Rude and untrustworthy. And they are not even cheap. Unbecoming for a brand name like Sixt, a ripoff and a misleading app!

I was a loyal Sixt customer for years but recently they tried to scam 900 euros from me through fake insurance claims. If you are using this app cover yourself and always take pictures of the vehicle before Sixt tries make you pay for marks left behind from their own branding that they removed. They'll follow it up with threats of debt collection too for extra fun :)

App is gestopt met werken ook na herinstalatie start niks meer op. Je zal maar Sixt share gebruiken sta je dan

They’re getting so much worse. The app randomly messes up. Forces you to re verify your ID, then crashes every time you go through. Then while trying to get help with customer support they’re unreachable and have the most “look how good we are” nonsense waiting sound that doesn’t help. Terrible service

The app is always on point, simple and clean. And the cars too! Appreciate Liquid Glass support!

Gebruik al jaren sixt share maar het is niet meer wat het was. Het is nu zeker 2 keer zo duur als 3 jaar terug. Daarnaast zijn er veel te vaak bugs die grote gevolgen kunnen hebben.
Voorbeeld 1: ik wil een auto unlocken, maar de app blijft vastlopen. Na 15 minuten gaf ik het op en heb ik de app gesloten (ik kon ook geen klantenservice bellen, de app liep vast). Natuurlijk annuleert de huur niet, 0 coulance van een medewerker. Eindrekening 120€ voor hun fout.
Voorbeeld 2: auto gereserveerd, auto unlocked niet (app loopt dit keer niet vast, dit keer lag het aan de auto). Na 5 minuten aan de lijn met klantenservice zecht ze dat de auto niet werkt en het helaas niet gaat lukken. Gevolg: ik moet een taxi pakken omdat ik anders te laat kom op een belangrijke afspraak. En alsnog een rekening sturen voor dit grapje.
Ik stop ermee. Ik koop gewoon een auto, met zulke irritante dingetjes zorg je ervoor dat niemand meer gaat carsharen.

Ik ben groot fan van jullie service en maak hier ook graag gebruik van. Maar in de app is het servicegebied niet zichtbaar (of heel soms).
Hierdoor heb ik geen idee of ik wel met jullie auto’s richting mijn bestemming zou kunnen, dus dit is wel essentieel.

1 ster is al te veel. 2 x gebruik gemaakt van sixt share 2x 30 euro afgeschreven. Kosten in totaal van 20 euro derest van me geld niet terug gekregen. Een rit van 20 euro kostten me 60 euro. Beste niet gebruiken zoek een andere app. De communicatie met de klantenservice is ook slecht. Nog steeds geen oplossing kunnen vinden en we zijn al een half jaar verder.

I referee a friend to use this app, got 3 vouchers. One for rent, one for share and one for ride. However, I can only use the rent voucher if I choose the flexible plan (the most expensive); I cannot use the share voucher because it says it only works in Germany and I’m in the Netherlands. Opened a support ticket 2 months ago, asked for updates, but got no reply.

De app doet het heel slecht kan niet zien of er ergens auto’s zijn of iets, hij blijf maar laden als je wilt inloggen en ik kan niets opzoeken kwa stad of iets heel jammer weer
