Root Board Game

It’s a great game, the only issue I’ve got is that after you bought the game you need to spend another 10.- to buy the other expansions too. I find that a bit excessive

Even if all app sounds are muted, the music that is playing in the background stops everytime I open the app and cannot be started again… unless I close the app
Could you please fix this?

Root is a board game where every player has a different agenda with different rules to play. For beginners this can be overwhelming but the app teaches how to play each style in a set of very clear tutorials. It starts with the easiest play style and moves on to the more complex ones. I recommend to try each one out after the tutorial in a solo game against only one AI opponent, preferably Marquise de Cat.
Complex board games tend to be less fun to play digitally due to the lack of overview, but Root is an exception. It plays very well on an iPad and the great visuals and animations add clarity and fun. Highly recommended!

I never played the physical variant but this is a really well created app and the game is fun so far. Takes some learning with the tutorials but it is very interactive and fun as well. The visuals look great.
