Rise of Castles: Fire and War

Love the game, also purchased some builder slots to speed up some jobs. Would love the option of Landscape mode so that I could play the game fully stretched on my 15inch MacBook. I have a Chromebook which plays the game nicely fully stretched, but it’s only a 13 inch laptop. Please add Landscape mode, preferably also MacBook aspect ratio :)

Game works good, the payment is just annoying. My points dont get added to my account and i get ignores by the ingame customer service

Finally a game where you can advance in skill and gameplay while not spending any money.
And if you are interested you can spend your money on even more fun while playing.

Dear developers, I think many of us plying from Europe find the ROC war times inaccessible which puts us at a huge disadvantage. Are there discussions to change the war time or give an extra option? That would be greatly appreciated!

It’s a great game to play. Takes a long time to achive a certain lvl, but you can go in. The awful part is when you get destroyed once. Or it will take you 3 months to get back to that lvl, of 200 euro. That’s the awful part.

Amazing game but extremely pay2win.
Should make it more fair for people who don’t have big credit cards.

Wasting my time here with this game , trying too get high level , are my friends telling me im in a different server so i think than i just swap server ? No my castle was already way too high level? Never had any warning from this game telling me i just cant move to a other server if i am to high level ? Teleport dont work either … yall lost a competitive player because of these stupid hided rules

Wanneer je geluk hebt en een land hebt waar je niet continue aangevallen wordt kun je nog wel een eind komen, maar zonder investeringen in het spel, gaat het traag en tijdrovend.

I think this is a nice game to play. I enjoy it. However after chapter 4 there is no new chapter. I am experiencing the same problem as the other reviewer.

Helemaal niet zoals de adds. Opbouwen duurt lang. Ben je eindelijk een beetje ergens, komen andere spelers je vernietigen (welke veel meer power hebben). Heel oneerlijk! Zo kun je nooit goed alles ontwikkelen in je spel.

The developers only think about filling their pockets. I’ve spent much time and money in this game but there is no end in sight. Every day new skins , every day new hero skins , every day a new way for them to make the players spend to compete against big spending players. Back in the day we could compete against giant spenders with the little money we spent. Now you have to spend big to survive or you can’t compete at all! When asking for a simple gift for my birthday after spending thousands of euros in their game they told me that it will be a “ lottery “ between players who’s birthday it is on the same days as yours. Barely anything is free. It’s sad but the game has become utter garbage. I hope the developers will listen more to their players who play for free because this game won’t last this way!

The game is cool, the idea is great, great players, but to be a good player, you must pay a lot. If you don’t want to pay, you have no chance. If you want to play this game good, have at least a budget a 200 till 1000 euro the month. There is always a new update, if you want to make them, they cost money. If you don’t want to spend money, then this update cost you a few months to realize Regards

I am playing this game for 2 years now. The game released Chinese only states now where the Chinese people can buy packs for 90% cheaper than the rest of the world. And these states you need to fight with. So the developers want you to spend money. Without the money you cannot reach anything in any game event anymore. I am no longer interested in the game. There is no fun in always losing in a unfair way. Goodbye Rise of Empires.
Update as a reaction. What you say is not true. Almost my whole alliance got demotivated because there are cheap packs in the Chinese only states. When we first teleported there during a war we could buy cheap packs which the game never offered to us and never gave us either. Even after we bought it we did not get it. There were cheap packs for €0,18. I lost my trust in the game. I even have screenshots of how cheap everything there is. Its positive discrimination for the chinese only states unfortunately. They also not in the normal states. Their states are very different from us. they are all maxed out at the start of roc season 1. The whole story about the gems is just to fill up the story unfortunately. The game used to be fun when it was fair. Now everybody quits because of these chinese states bullying us. You should consider to change this to avoid the game to die in future.

The game itself is really good, very good community and gameplay. I was really enjoying the game, but it’s turning into a money trap more and more. The only way you can play this game if you spend loads of money. After playing it for more then a year I am now at a point where I’m considering stopping, after all that time and money I put in to this game. Very sad, but I hope they change and listen more to the players.
