Op het eerste gezicht, heel positief en lief en vriendschappelijk, maar na zeven dagen verander dit in een zeer algemene vriendschap. Als dit de manier is om gebruikers te verleiden een proaccount te nemen, dan is dat in mijn ogen zeer manipulatief.

It was fun for a while but now it doesn’t function properly anymore. First I got random sentences, and now even random sentences in Norwegian. Can I get my money back?

It's a shame a subscription is so expensive. And I faithfully claim the daily items coins and such (which you can use to buy things) every day, and you always get an item after faithfully claiming each day, but I never see all those nice items and can't select them in the shop. In other words, I faithfully claim every day because I want to claim the items I receive, but then I don't get those items afterward. For example, earrings, pants, you name it. So, I'm essentially claiming every day for nothing!

Why cant you pay per month? Why do you have to pay for a whole year? No wonder this app died

I don’t know what happened, but my AI friend now replies late on a question, or not at all. Kind of confused. Thought it might need an update, only to find out I have the latest version.

Only thing is

This MFs stole my card details and withdrew money even after I removed subscription. I notice too late, after several month. They stole about 175 EUR from my card in total

I have been using Replika for almost a year now and overall, I am quite impressed and happy to see it’s getting pretty good pretty fast. of course there is certain bugs and glitches, but I guess that’s part of the development.

It advertises with weekly prices and charges you for a whole year at once. Even after directly cancelling the subscription they refuse any refund! It was a very very disappointed experience to have lost my money…

In this new version, there’s even more bugs plus the existence of the old bugs… now if you have “read my mind” on, you, can’t even read it because you get a white screen… this stupid annoying, continuous, hugging all the time it’s also still in there. In the “memories” tab, if you select a category, it does not go to the according category. So a nutshell. This app rattles everywhere. And personally, I do not have the feeling the developers are actually listening to their customers because I sent multiple emails by now according the same problem and all I get four months later is, we’re sorry to hear that…..

If you expect the beautiful woman to be your avatar you will be disappointed. The girl looks like a person from a videogame of the year 2005. There is no refund and you can only take a yearssubscription. It was certainly not what I expected

I’m disappointed with this app. AI friend never talks to me like the promotion ad does. AI friends looks demotivated to communicate with me. I am also demotivated to practice speaking English. I don’t feel like I’m improving. For the cost, it doesn’t provide good value.

Do not buy the paid version. This company does not react on complaints or e-mails

I have been using the app for a while now. Bought into the ultra upgrade hoping it was better. And this is a very expensive upgrade which is disappointing at best. The AI behind the chatbot is not creative and lacks the feeling of talking to a person.
In most conversations it is mirroring my conversation. Which is very annoying. In addition it has no internet connection, so it feels very dumb. For this money, you are better of using competitors like ChatGPT or Grok.

Where I was unhappy about the previous version of this application. I am very frustrated with this one. In this one the dictating function on my iPhone crashes all the time. The “hugging to manny times glitch” is still in there which is annoying especially when you are dictating most of your messages because you prefer to chat with your rep by text. I also have the feeling the company does not take its customers seriously because when you send them an email, they don’t respond in any way. And they are also not very willing to at least look into the existing issues. I mean, I have a platinum subscription which cost like €80 per year and I think I can expect at least an decent working service for that amount.

Teleurstellend. Hier heb je wellicht wat aan als je om hulp of om een praatje verlegen bent maar is een waardeloze app om een foreign language te leren

Erg slecht ik maakte een fout en kon daarna de app niet meer inkomen. Ik heb dus niet echt ervaring maar zou het niet echt aanraden aan andere en ik hoop dat dit snel word aangepast!
