Rarevision VHS: Retro Cam

I’ve been looking for an app like this and never really found something as good as this. Only thing that’s different with vhs is the motion lines. But overall insane app.

This app is nice, works good. But there is too much noise in the video. “Tilting make things worser” doesn’t exist at all. I have a good running VHS c camcorder and it films really good without any noise in the video footage. The colors are realistic. And the botom bar with color is also realistic. I see this when I captured the video on dvd, dv avi and on my pc directly whatever format. I hope they gonna mount a switch where you can turn of the noise on the screen and also a pause function where you can continue filming without you see the ‘play’ text everytime.

Bought the app but after a few days the screen doesnt work anymore, doesnt give me footage.

Dear RarevisionVHS, it’s time for an update that supports wide angle 0.5 and iOS16, i paid for this app and i’d like to see it up and running and improved, i’d love to hear your thoughts.

The look of the app and look is awesome, but the app keeps crashing after playing video’s. The playing video’s feature is slow. Also switching between portrait and widescreen is clunky. Please update!

Woudn’t say it’s great Looking, but I guess you’ll never fully recreate the look of VHS.
But a good novelty

The quality is nice.. but unfortunately there not a quick button to create a glitch effect.

Im having a lot of fun with this app. I just wish the buttons would rotate when in portrait mode.

Fun app, nice retro feel. But what’s up with those two lines at the bottom though? Would be nice if we could disable those..
One or two more filters would also be appreciated. One with a little more warmth/sat perhaps?

And everything as in 1984.
BUT…
You can’t spoof the date before 1984.
And that’s just a little bit too far.
It’s just a joke, the whole video. So don’t be a$$h0les about the spoof date, please.

Heel leuk, maar wilt vaak niet meer opnemen als ik op de record button druk - dan moet ik eerst de app sluiten en opnieuw openen. Hoop dat dit opgelost wordt!

Geweldig leuke app.
Lekker retro oude vhs achtige films maken.
Geeft toch net iets extra’s en iets meer karakter.

Most realistic app out there.
Would be great if it was possible in the menu to 1) disable the 'Play' text at the start of a video, and 2) disable the humming sound.

Just downloaded it on iPhone SE to have some special effects, it really looks like my old VHS recordings from the 80s and 90s! Sharing is also very easy. Awesome!

Very Nice App! Would recommend to anyone! Too bad it cant convert existing recorded videos. :(

Really miss the option of applying the effect afterwords on allready existing video's.
