USE YOUR OWN API KEY
If you have an OpenAI API key, add it in settings and Petey uses it directly. You pay OpenAI, not us, and you can pick from the models your key allows. A ChatGPT Plus subscription is not an API key; keys come from platform.openai.com.
FREE AND PREMIUM
Petey is free to use with a monthly limit of messages. Petey Premium removes the limit and unlocks the more capable models. Bought Petey before it went free? Tap Restore Purchases and your original purchase carries over.

Conversations are stored on your device and in your iCloud. Petey does not sell or share your data.

MeerPrettig om chat gpt om je pols te hebben. Het lukt mij echter niet om gpt4 aan te schaffen via assistive touch. Kan ook geen uitleg vinden op de site of een kort YouTube video die het laat zien.

MeerI mean: the Watch version was pretty good at first, then for reasons unknown the pleasant female non-Siri voicemail in my language (Dutch) was suddenly, even before the update and the upgrade to chat GTP model 4 , which on the watch is unclear that you’re entering a subscription, like on the iOS version which suddenly one day was there, with not enough explanation about how to get, setting it up, HOW to get past the page where you can put in an api key to avoid paying through your nose for the GTP model 4. Swiping down instinctively did the trick for me, but that was nowhere mentioned.
Just that you got a really long time to decide if you’re gonna stay on the rather expensive weekly €6,99 or get an api key yourself, or go back to the less intelligent 3.5 model again. I don’t think I’ll stay on my phone on a subscription, nor am I apt enough to get a key. The iOS version doesn’t talk. That’s is a real dealbreaker for me. If the makers or sellers of Petey don’t get that sorted out and the watch version stays on the male Siri voice, both of them will be replaced with the “dumber” model, which is free on the phone and was paid for when it was still a watch only app. On the whole I get a lot of how new and maybe problematic things are for the seller in both the App Store on my watch as the one on my phone. My rating would be higher if the two versions were the same, which the lady from customer support assured me: why direst have the the iOS version a voice then? And why did the pleasant female voice on my watch got traded with the male Siri voice without an interaction from me to explain that? I left my review of Petey as asked by the new sellers. I stil am open minded but if things don’t change with the voice: I was rather surprised by how good the watch only was at the time I bought it, and if I don’t get a good Dutch or even English voice back I won’t stay on the expensive plan. It’s sad: potentially you had the best consumer product with Petey, now I’m not sure anymore. To be continued, I hope.3door Fre*******12/04/2023
