This app motivated me to start a walking streak! I’m a software developer and since COVID-19 I worked from home. I realized that I was doing around 1500 steps each day.
It was a thought process to make more steps. Buying an Apple Watch did help, but it did not force me to keep doing it for more than one week.
Having a one-week streak on this app gives that bit of motivation to keep walking. The badges will give you that little nudge to take that streak to the next level. I love that I can increase my goal and challenge myself.
My suggestions:
I would love to scroll through my streak and remind myself why I had a bad day or why I walked 26380 steps. Maybe an easy note system?
A second suggestion would be to have a clear way that shows if a rest day is allowed. I understand that the rules are easy. But occasionally, I have to count, and I start to question myself if it was a 5, 6 or 7 streak.
The third suggestion would be related to the second one. I would love to set the rest day rules. Every so often, a longer or smaller period would be easier. Possibly, a specific day would be great.
I understand that the rules should be clear and easy. But this freedom can help people who need that harder or easier treatment.
