  I am extremely disappointed with PayPal’s customer service. I was charged an additional €149 in currency conversion losses on top of an agreed $200 cancellation fee for two refunds processed just days after the original payments. Despite multiple contacts with customer service, I received only generic responses that “exchange rates fluctuate,” without any meaningful explanation or willingness to review the case. As a long-time customer, I expected much better transparency and a fairer approach. Very frustrating experience.

  paypal is using my name and my number for there own purpose

  Logged in and got an email saying they’ve permanently deactivated. No security checks, no specific explanation, no way to reactivate. Thank god I didn’t have any money in it. Unreliable garbage service.

  Ik had een terechte case. En toch hebben ze de claim afgewezen. Nu zit ik met kosten die niet terecht zijn.
  Paypal werkt echt niet mee.
  Dit is echt een rot bedrijf

  Yesterday i purchased something on etsy and it went through, today i’m trying again and etsy does not let me purchase it because i need to “double check” my information. Ive restarted all apps countless of times due to there not being any issue with my information. I can’t put money from my own bank account onto my paypal account either. Genuinely awful!

• Just let me skip 2FA

  Every time I open the app it asks for a 2FA code. Why can’t I just login with just Face ID? It’s 2026, basically every bank and finance app allows me to login with just my face, but PayPal think they’re special. I guess they are; especially moronic that is.

• Stuck at passkey screen

  App used to work fine until passkeys were introduced. Now it won’t allow me to use the app. It keeps asking to create a passkey. Creating a passkey does not change the situation. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but to no avail.

• Used to be easy and added value

  Try to reset yout password to login, you cant leave screen to look in your mailbox for verification code to start. Not easy to use anymore, way to expensive and unwanted marketing and data sharing. Used to be simple email in the past which is nog safe anymore nowadays. Also no real customer service.
