Passepartout, VPN Client

I bought this app for iOS long time ago. Don’t mind to pay for extra options, but now this developer got insane with this steep price raises. Do you need a new bathroom?
Couple of months ago it was 9,99 to get the AppleTV option, now you need to pay 22,99 ! And new users even 99 Euro to get the whole suite.
I always told people about this app and that it is/was an good app to use. But now I won’t recommend it anymore. Sorry dev.
Update after 3.42 release: The app for AppleTV is even higher priced now. € 29,99 ! When this came out for AppleTV the price was only € 9,99. Do I something wrong? Isn’t it better to have more users paying a lower price compared to some which are paying a premium price?

I could easily add my “ovpn” file to the app, and it said “connected”, however, when connected I did not have any internet anymore… this was not my server, being connected with OVPN-connect didn’t give me troubles at all.. So: free to install, not free to use I guess?

I had been looking for months for a WireGuard VPN app for the Apple TV. This app is really great, you can simply log in or upload your own VPN configuration into it. This app is a game changer!

Great app but some things need some extra care.
ExpressVPN is missing on the VPN Provider selection.
Proton VPN shows the old branding (logo etc.)
Also the pricing is a bit shady and very expensive if you need the entire package.
What are the exclusive features that justify this high price?
Why not a one price purchase for all options?, now you have iOS/Mac OS but no AppleTV
Is iPadOS included?, no one knows.
Hate the app icon, but that’s my opinion :)

The app works much better then the openvpn app. Trusted networks is a great function.

just as it said in the title this app is a reliable way to manage vpn connections on the mac without mutch of a fuzz.
allows you to import openvpn files and also allows commertial options, the setting enabling it on sertain networks and not others is awsome as well.

I found this app a few weeks ago after starting to have troubles with the OpenVPN Connect app.
This works so much better and also you can add trusted WiFi networks so at home the VPN stays disconnected and other networks it automatically connects. It works great and also the speed is better when connected through the Passepartout app when connected through a full tunnel. I run my own OpenVPN server at home and have fiber. I use a full tunnel so nothing gets blocked through my companies WiFi. Works like a charm.

This app has it all. VPN-On-Demand, trusted network switching, and optional manual settings for various variables such as DNS. Without this app, the regular VPN options of iOS are pretty useless. This app fixes that.

Maybe I’m dumb(likely), but I basically wanted this app so I could created Siri Shortcuts for existing vpns that I have. I have a private vpn setup to my fritzbox router so I can control my smart home (home assistant) and surf safely. I basically want to trigger this profile whenever I open the home assistant helper app and close it when I close/minimize the app. How would I add this profile to passepartout?

Great app! Would like an option to duplicate my VPN host profile to make small adjustments in my connection. (DNS version and a Split DNS version of the same connection) etc.

Well-designed app with a good chunk of options and as long as you’re reasonable the dev is responsive and willing to fix the issue quickly. Good stuff!

Had to alter my configuration file to have inline certificates and had to add the "key-direction" option as mentioned in the FAQ. It would be better if the given error would mention the FAQ on the website.
