Pages: maak documenten aan

I cannot see the usual functions by the touch bar that i used to use constantly to change things in the text faster.. would love to see that back in the next version

Ongeloofelijk dat Apple dit doet.
Nu moeten wij “Rent/Huur” betalen voor Pages?

Werkt allemaal prima, jammer dat ik als ik documenten verstuur aan anderen die pages niet hebben, ik er dus altijd eerst een pdf van moet maken wil ik het voor andren te openen mogelijk make

unfortunately, Apple has decided to riddle the app with banners, buttons and locked templates to remind you of their paid subscription. very annoying as I am not interested in that.

Het nieuwe “Creator Studio” Pages heeft een enorme impact op de batterij. Is vast een bug. Jammer dat het gratis Pages en de andere iWork onderdelen onderdeel. Uit is gaan maken van de Creator Studio suite.

Opslaan van bestanden in een document overzicht is ontzettend lastig .

Used to work fine, but the addition of useless ai-slop everywhere and hiding the interface behind ever more and more and more clicks make the app impossible to use for work.

Sinds de nieuwe update van pages kan het niet meer geinstalleerd worden op mijn mac uit 2017. Ik krijg ook niet de optie om een vorige versie te installeren. Hiermee word ik gedwongen een alternatief te installeren

“Share Analytics Data” is enabled by default for the new Pages, Numbers and Keynote apps and needs to be disabled in each app individually! Besides that I don’t like the distracting ‘premium content’ advertising.

Het is veel kleiner en compacter dan word en je kan veel sneller opmaken op pagina formaat. Ik ben heel blij met Pages en de ondersteuning door Apple!

Top door zijn eenvoud, vind ik Pages heel goed en niet zo uitgebreid als Word. Snel te leren. Ik geef de voorkeur aan programma’s, die intuïtief en die snel te leren zijn. Programma’s, die gemaakt zijn om te doen waarvoor ze bestemd zijn. Pages is door zijn eenvoud een krachtige tool. Heel snel te leren. Ik ben er al jaren (bijna 30 jaar) zeer tevreden over. Proficiat Apple.

10 years ago Pages for Mac was brilliant: a combination of word processor and layout program, with pro-features for both functions.
Then it got replaced by what was essentially Pages for iOS, and the layout mode became pretty hidden, and the pro features disappeared.
Now it is replaced again by something that is probably okay if you only want to create a letter or a birthday invitation poster, but little more. All control over how things look have become hidden, replaced by AI, which does exactly what I don’t want.

This app used to be free, it used to be a reason to buy a Mac. Now it turned freemium and there are upsell-UI-elements all over the app. I think there is only one team inside Apple that actually likes this change, and it’s not the product design team ;)

Very disappointed with this update. Apple finally caught up with Microsoft, now being able to make new version worser than the previous. Incredible.

Geen behoefte aan AI. Ik kan zelf denken.
Het mooie model van vroeger is kapotgemaakt door mannetjes die graaien.
Ik denk dat de volgende Linux gaat worden. Walgelijk!
