Onkyo HF Player - Hi-Res Music

No free or reasonable priced version anymore. Way overpriced paid version required. Decided to move on.

it does not work, it struggles and over-consuming battery power, just very bad and outdated with terrible 10 years old interface, waste of time, money and ‘onkyo’ name

I wish they included Plex support so i can play/load files from my NAS storage.
Also some basic things are missing
Features that i really want:
* Pitch control.
* Output loudness/volume leveling so everything is at the same volume.
* BPM counter.
* Chromecast-Audio support.
* Support for playlist files, .m3u, .pls etc.
* Some visual effects, like scope/waveform/vu meters.

Great app, in conjunction with the Dragonfly Red and B&W C5, I can upsample my Tunes and FLAC files while on the road.

It's very good, lots of settings, the only thing i miss is the shuffle function (or is it there but í can't find it).

Plays all my music files beautifully and with the new update it looks very nice and sleek. I recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to the stock music app.. Very nice design and operates comfortably.
Also, thanks for keeping the app updated!

If you're looking into a better sound player for your iPhone m, this app delivers it. Even mp3s sound more organic and pleasant to listen to. This app also plays flac and DSD format. But as an Apple Watch user I'm frustrated to see I cannot control the music via the Watch (except volume).

This app plays HD and iTunes audio content flawlessly on my iPhone 5. This includes DSD over PCM using a CCK to USB DAC. Would give this app five stars when UPNP/DLNA is added for playing HD content from a server.

Fantastic player for HD audio, specially in combination with a Herus DAC.
But unfortunately after the upgrade of 17 April it does not work anymore with iPad2 and Herus. It gives the following message: “ACESSORY UNAVAILABLE: The attached accessory uses too much power”
Before the upgrade it used to play brilliant.
