Blokkeren geld zonder reden
MeerApp net een maand gedownload en me gehele account is geblokkeerd. Had net me salaris erop gezet, zit al 2 dagen zonder eten. Klanten Support drukt je gewoon weg, geven niks om je. Alleen downloaden als je je geld bevroren wil hebben.

MeerStay away from these cowboys. I got money in my account after selling my house ( from a notary, who by law checks everything before payment ), then came the surprise, without any notice they froze my account. I had to reach out to them since no one said anything to me. When I contacted them they closed the helpchat 2 times on me. I requested info but all it says: “security check 72 hours.” Its been almost a week now. No service, no explanation, just random messages from supoport with the same message ( seems like bots ). No one helps you, they all send the same. This happens a lot, check the recent reviews online. I contacted German lawyers and BaFin and they confirmed this too, they are a shady company. Thanks N26, I bet you are investing my money now and calling it a “security check”. Future customer do yourself a favour and run away from them, in my case its about €200.000+. I bet some clown will reply on this review trying to be amazingly empathic, dont be fooled with them. I am happy I saved all communication as evidence. Scam bank, I hope they revoke your license.

MeerThis is honestly one of the worst banking experiences I’ve ever seen.
I tried to open an account, and it kept giving errors for no clear reason. It’s not just me. I have 6 friends who tried the same thing. One from Canada, one from Romania, one from Austria, one from the Netherlands, and others too. All of them got errors during signup. That says everything.
The app looks clean, but it doesn’t work when it matters. What’s the point of a “modern bank” if people can’t even create an account?
I also heard from a friend in Denmark that he had around €900 in his account and it disappeared instantly. No clear explanation. No real support. Just silence.
There’s no physical bank, no real place you can go, and the chat support doesn’t respond properly. You feel stuck with no control over your own money.
I don’t recommend this bank at all. Actually, I would say avoid it completely.1door And*******12/04/2026App issue new phone
MeerI got recently a new phone (iPhone 17 pro). But when i want to login and the app tries to open the front camera it crashes. How do i verify and use the app again. I use it a lot for payments and are happy with the service. Need help to get it working again.

MeerI was an early adopter of N26 and was apprehensive at first. After a couple of years of using N26 when traveling only I decided to move all my banking over and leave my legacy bank (ING).
I’ve never had a problem with this bank. Support has always been helpful, incoming and outgoing transfers are processed fast. I have completed control over cards and payments. The UI and DX is lovely.
My personal experience has been phenomenal, I know that hasn’t been the case for everyone but for me, I have been impressed and happy.5door N S*******17/02/2026Easy setup and good experience so far
MeerOpening an N26 account was easy, and the verification process went smoothly. You receive a free virtual card, and for €10 you can order a physical card. The debit Mastercard works very well and can often be used like a credit card, which is a big plus.
One thing to keep in mind is that the money on your account also counts as your available credit, so make sure you have sufficient funds. Adding money is easy via iDEAL, which is very convenient.
For now, I’m satisfied with N26. I’ve read many negative reviews about accounts being blocked, but I haven’t experienced this myself so far. At the moment, I’m a happy user.

MeerWhat a bizzare and misleading marketing. N26 does not offer virtual cards whatsoever. There is only an option to order the physical Mastercard for 10€.

MeerI had a mixed experience with N26, wanted it to be my main bank but it is impossible, unfortunately. After trying multiple times to have my documents recognized without success, even with contact with N26 support, I gave up. With other banks I didn’t have this issue, obviously with the same documents.

Kreeg vragen over betalingen die binnenkwamen en moest de verzenders zich laten legitimeren en een uitleg schrijven over dat bedrag.
Kreeg ik van dezelfde persoon op een ander tijdstip weer een bedrag gestort deden ze dit hele riedeltje overnieuw.
En nu noem ik alleen maar 1 van de vele mankementen van deze tweederangs onlinebank.
