MusicView is a simple client for Spotify and AppleMusic.
You can view top charts in any country and quickly play any of the tracks.
You can view and edit your currently playing song which can be displayed as a widget.
You can create your own custom widget themes so they match any setup.

Note: Some actions such as playback control require a Spotify Premium account. All playback controls are available with Apple Music.

Decent app, worth the money

Excellent music widget with great controls
You can control via the homescreen widget your currently playing music via play/pause and prev/next buttons on medium and bigger sized widgets for iTunes Music or Apple Music. The smaller widget can only play/pause but that is due to restrictions the developer can’t change.
It also has nifty features build in so that when you tap any of the control buttons or album art that it refreshes and opens/closes the music app without actually seeing it so the widget controls works it album art refreshes. You do have to turn on settings in the widget so go to edit widget on homescreen and then select ‘close on tap’, ‘Refresh on tap’ besides ‘show actions’.
Note: It doesn’t work with Spotify Free but according to developer does work with Spotify Premium (can’t verify myself)
The FAQ vaguely describes that for some features the Spotify premium is needed. The developer should clearly indicate this limitation in the App Store description that controls do not work with Spotify Free to avoid bad reviews.
You might want to explain a bit more in the App Store description how it works (connect first to music service in app, also works with your local music in your Music app/(formerly iTunes Music), Spotify premium only) and how to edit a widget and to ensure that you have controls (medium and large only possible due to limitations in interactivity by Apple) and the close/refresh on tap to prevent negative reviews.
