Monash FODMAP Diet

Gebruik de app nu enkele jaren. Jammer dat er behalve wat extra toegingen over voeding nauwelijks ontwikkeling zit in de app zelf.
De uitstraling en werking van de app doet enorm achterhaald aan.
Sinds laatste update zijn in het dagboek de bolletjes weg, op de dagen dat al iets ingevuld staat. Maakt het veel onoverzichtelijker en dit was eigenlijk het enige waar ik de app nog dagelijks voor gebruikte. Ga dit nu maar in een andere app bijhouden.
Verder gebruik ik de app de afgelopen jaren bijna niet meer doordat er weinig informatie is over producten uit Nederland. En als dat er al is, is het merk lang niet altijd te achterhalen... Alleen bij twijfel (en dus alleen voor algemene producten zoals bepaalde groenten of graanproducten) om te checken hoe de waarden liggen. Voor mij persoonlijk het geld helaas niet waard.

Update 2: offline cache seems to be working again, I still think the UI can be better. It’s just very weird that the food guide is a pop-up window so to speak: I wish there was an option that when the app opens, it opens the food guide by default. Thank you for the team to reach out and respond.
Update: search function isn’t always working in this version. Offline cache seems to not be updating either, very slow even on a new phone.

De App-Update heeft niet gewerkt, heb de app vandaag gedownload, maar helaas bij het willen openen van de recepten bevriest de app compleet! Erg jammer….

App heeft altijd goed gewerkt en regelmatig worden producten geupdated. Helaas loopt de app vast bij de recepten. Recepten zijn niet in te zien en app doet dan niks meer.
Update: dit gemeld en ondertussen (per ongeluk) de iOS geupdate. Nu werkt de app weer.

There are a lot of products shown multiple times in a category with different scores. This app is irrelevant to what i need know for my fodmap diet. Sadly most products i want to search are not on this app. I don’t think it was worth it to pay money for this app…

€9 for an app that freezes every time I want to open a recipe. Very unhelpful and a waste of money.

There’s just too many clicks needed to use the app. Not being able to add a note directly to your stool seems like a missing basic feature. Of course you can add a note as a log entry, but it’s an extra step and make it more difficult to read the day.
Also filtering the food list is very cumbersome and lacks basics feature once again.
All in all, it’s very expensive for what you get

My expectations were high as you have to pay EUR 8,99 for this app. Was a bit disappointed: the UX is terrible, comes over as very amateurish, I think with a little bit of effort and someone experienced in building iOS apps this could be fixed easily. Then on to the content: disappointed as well, I don’t know which countries this app focuses on, but there’s some very common foods missing. I thought you could browse through a whole list of products from my country (NL), but soon stopped using the app because I could barely find any. The idea is good, the implementation leaves much to be desired for. Fill your database, that’s the power behind apps like these. Wouldn’t recommend, you can get the information that’s in the app for free elsewhere on the internet.

I mean i get it its informative but its a 12 euro app, how about hiring a UX designer ?

This app helps me a lot in determining which food is good or bad for me. It’s definitely worth the price.
There are some negative reviews here about technical issues which I honestly don’t recognise. I’ve never had problems.
If you have IBS, I’d surely recommend this.

It is a good app. But it has annoying bugs. Like app closing out of a sudden en not being able to use the search tool. I have already had several times in need when i couldn't get the information at a crucial moment like in the supermarket. This while I paid for this app

A very good app. I use it very often but. i installed the iPad version today and I have to scroll through the lists (and those are long, that's good) in order to find a product or food. When I search, there are no (not one!) items listed. Nor apple, nor broccoli, nor bread. On the iPhone it works perfectly.
Five stars for the phone, two for the tablet.

Ik heb de app voor een gezinslid aangekocht met de bedoeling die te delen. Dit blijkt echter niet mogelijk.
Gevolg is dat we nu dubbel moesten betalen.
De opmerking downloaden met gezin mag dus wel worden verwijderd. Dit is misleiding!

Really glad that this app is showing the newest information about fodmaps (more up to date then my dietist). It’s worth the money! One point of feedback: some products from my country (the Netherlands) are tested, such as muesli, some sort of cookies, etc. but I don’t know which brand it is... so I can’t buy it because I’m not sure if it’s the same sort of cookie/muesli, etc. and if it has the same amounts as the tested product.
