First of all, the instrument separation is just friggin’ awesome. Let me say that first. I have not seen this level of quality anywhere else. So, the core of the functionality works and works well. It’s a recommended buy.
However as I use the app more often, there are some really annoying things that should be resolved.
1. You are constantly being nagged through the interface about the fact you haven’t got the highest tier, and therefore limited by its exports.
Just hide that stuff from me. Don’t upsell me inside an app I use daily.
2. On the left top, the app displays an arrow down (⌄). The correct usage of this is to slide the interface down in a minimized fashion so that it reveals the list of items behind it. The current usage is that the music keeps playing, while you’re able to choose another song.
Instead, Moises, on press of that arrow, stops playing the music immediately and closes the entire interface. Super annoying because I keep expecting other functionality. Either turn it in to a ‘close’ button and move it to the right, or provide the correct functionality that is suggested.
3. Exporting is poorly done. When I export and download, I can’t save the tracks to my desktop! Instead I have to ‘email’ the tracks (I drag the tracks out of the created email onto the desktop), which is just a weird way to save a bunch of files.
4. Occasionally, the metronome starts playing when playing a song, loudly, even though I turned it off. I have to close the song, choose another song to play, and then go back to this song to resolve the metronome playing. This issue has been in for a year now and has not been resolved.
