Mimo: Python, HTML, Express

Okay so it takes it very slow and shows the basics of a language, but after you learn like just the coding style and names, you have to pay to continue. So if you already know about coding it only learns variables in that language and print-line and stuff. For beginners its fine, but it’s not enough to really learn how to code.

It’s great! But could you remove the pay-walls, I can only do section one, and I don’t get a lot of keys!

Just started on the first few chapters. I like the way they keep things simple and small for me. Might take longer, but it keeps me interested so far. I do think the scoreboard is fake, just to stimulate me. I have never been a first at anything

Hele leuke app. het lijkt héél erg op duolingo maar dan voor programmeertalen. Het is spelend leren.

I think this app has a good balance between learning new stuff and re-using what you’ve already learned. I also like that there is a huge variety of things to learn. Keep going!

Initially when I downloaded this app, it was *alright*. I got tired of being locked in the small amount of features in the free tier, so I bought pro and it was much better, and it did teach me of the fundamentals of webdev, but later on they added max, and closed the forum so that this scummy company can milk our wallets even more, wouldn't recommend. Use w3schools for fundamentals/basics and built your own X to learn more.

Many apps ask me for my rating opinion way too early. I haven’t even gotten halfway through the lessons yet.

I really like the concept of the Mimo app – it’s a cool and engaging way to learn coding, especially since you can do it quickly and easily on your phone. However, to really make the most of the app, you quickly find out that you need a Pro subscription. I went ahead and purchased that, only to discover in the second section of my course that I now need yet another license to run a desktop project.
This feels a bit misleading, especially since in the first section, running a “bot project” was still considered free. While the overall idea is great and the app is definitely well-designed, in the end, there are cheaper alternatives out there that are just as effective for learning to code.

Mimo gedownload om te leren coderen, app zat goed in elkaar dus heb het pro abbonement gekocht in een aanbieding. 1 dag na aankoop werkt de app niet meer, en heeft geen een keer meer gewerkt sinsdien (nu een week geleden). Voel me erg belazerd

Perfect! learning code instead of doomscrolling. I love that it is available on desktop also

Het enige wat jammer is is dat je je doel niet meer kan veranderen want ik wil java leren alleen nu moet ik erg lang sites leren programmeren voordat ik java krijg

Hello. Yesterday, I set up my new iPhone 16 Pro. But now, the Mimo app is stuck on the splash screen. Re-Install did not help.

Nice app with a good design and gamification features. I would love to be able to learn R trough it. Hoping for this in the future

I would use Mimo a lot for beginning of programming and further. Its super handy, so i recommend it! Also its very good that they have CSS HTML Python C## C++ and all those programming languages, so 5 stars

Can you please add a option where you can make the text size bigger I found a bit difficult to read it even my phone is big

Awesome app! It’s helping me a lot.
Please improve between devices syncing because the iPad doesn’t show lessons completed on the phone. Would also love to be able to skip lessons

When you sign up for the free trail you don’t get a free trial.
You have to pay right away.
I don’t mind paying but like to heve a choice pay per month or year.
Here you can only pay for a year.
That means you lost your money if you quit before the year is up.
The don’t off money back so they win and you lose a fortune.
