Calibri was the best font in existence, with the freshness and bubbliness needed for a fun text, but also the professionalism required for school or work. Calibri was everything. Calibri was the muse I needed to fill those pages. Calibri made those letters come to life. But now, you’ve replaced it with the bane of our existence, Aptos, the soulless and soulsucking fiend of the font world. Aptos is everything that is wrong with today’s society. Calibri was PERFECT. It was everything I needed and could’ve asked for, but you still felt the need to push it aside for something worse in every single aspect.
Yes, it still exists. Yes, it’s still an option. But you’ve taken it out of its righteous spot above all the others, and most importantly, above Aptos. Will the younger generation still know of the beauty of Calibri? Will they still use it? Will they still have a use for their eyes if they can’t see it every time they open your app?
You have my word, Word, that will not let this fly. I will never forget, and I will most certainly never forgive the injustice that you have brought upon my muse, my love, my religion, Calibri.
