Magic Poser - Art Pose Tool

The app truly is amazing! It lets you create poses which allow you to see incredibly well how muscles move which helps with anatomical studies. It’s a little sad that only one body type (muscular man) is freely available (the rest is paid) but it’s also understandable as the app needs the money to keep running and getting updates. That said, the app is completely useable even without buying a subscription and is truly the best app to use if you want body references. You’re able to freely move around the character and adjust every single body part (including fingers, toes etcetera individually!) and has very handy presets (such as sitting, kneeling, walking and way more -> many of which free!) so you don’t have to spend super long putting the character into a pose. All in all an incredible app that is totally worth it considering everything you’re able to do with the free version. Incredibly grateful they’ve been able to keep it so accessible throughout the years so that people who can’t afford to pay it can continue to have so much use out of it. Thanks!

It’s pretty good, but I also want to work with drawing women, which sucks because I don’t have Pro, and I think it’s unfair that we have to have pro to simply want to draw a woman. I don’t really care about hairstyles or anything else, those I do myself, but It really does suck that we have to have pro to simply draw a woman…. I think that only men in free version is unfair

Everything is paid, there is no point in using the app, just use the web version you get much more for free. I am not about to pay a €16 a month subscription (more expensive than the average mmo) just because I want to use one pose model out of 20 or so. Yes, there is also the "pro" version which does give a lifetime unlock for a one time payment but that doesn't give you anything useful. If I could buy individual models maybe this would be worth considering, but at this price point, heck no.
And yes I've read your whole spiel about how you supposedly researched and interviewed users for 2 years before "arriving at this pricing model" but we all know that the only thing that matters here is that 90% of people want to draw a female model, so those are the ones you put behind a paywall to force more people to pay up.

I find it odd that the male body is free and the female body cost money…please atleast make one female body free, plus i cant do a free trial bc im under 18 or smth and i cant use my credit card for it.

As an artist, I really needed an app like this to help me with anatomy back then. I used this app I think 2 years ago and it was perfect. I could add more characters and bodies. It was easy to use as well. But now I am returning to see this. I only can add one character but not 2 or 3. Even if you want to do it you have to pay for it which is not worth it.

I’ve updated the app like to pop-up notification told me and now I’m still unable to enter the app so that’s very disappointing

I used to use this app all the time back when alot of things were free, i wanted to use it again only to see that everything costs money! even placing 2 character costs money which i find weird. I get that maybe you werent making enough money at first but i think placing more than 1 character should still be free, cus then theres basically no point in having the app if you wont pay. A solution i thought about was maybe only making this possible for old accounts way before this update, like mine. Genuinely hope this happens.

i really like the app, but it keeps making my iPad pro 2021 extremely hot. the only app that does that. i should note im working on a composition with 8 people in it.

I downloaded this so i could use basic anatomy for females, as i am an artist. If this app had free models other than male ones, id really appreciate that, but no, if you want a female model, you either gotta be pro or master. This app sucks 0-10

the reason why I was here in the first place is because people can’t put down 2 characters I’d recommend making it so people can place 2 characters because it’s better please add that

I LOVED the old version but since it updated its gotten SO laggy and very hard to use,it also requires many more ads and purchases,i used to use this everyday but ive lost hope in this app

Nice app, but I got account-tired. Why not jyst pay this one time fee for Pro via an in-app purchase? So I deleted the app.
And no: I don’t have problems with the one-time fee. Just gettimg allergic for setting up account after account to arrange things in apps. The whole idea of the app store is precisely to avoid that…

Everything is overpriced now! I loved this app and now it’s basically ruined. I do like a lot of the new features but they should bring back the coins instead of an monthly subscription.

Are you literally kidding me? I’d be fine paying 10 bucks once, but that package doesn’t include the FREE models I used. The ONLY way to get ALL of my old projects working again is to pay 14,99 A MONTH.
PHOTOSHOP IS CHEAPER. Get outta here!

This is a useful app for studying the human pose/figure, I found it to be incredibly helpful by drawing people in difficult poses.
The adjustable lightning tool is great for when you aren’t sure where the shadows should be.
For now my only tip would be to have a bit more diversity in the body types.
