The web-application and its mobile version in particular are functioning well. The quality of its information, refresh rate, architecture and push messages all deserve 5* !
However ( !) recently the commercial messages have become too prominent, to the point that opening the app has slowed down seriously because of the many cookies it’s trying to download on the user’s smartphone. It also takes increasingly more time before consultations become possible as the screen first needs to be fully taken by unwanted commercial messages, which cannot always be cancelled immediately.
Since more than 80% of Meteo France's annual budget (2014) of 353 millions d'euros is covered by the French state and contributions from the aeronautical world, its quest for additional funding should not impair its user friendliness !
