Iriun Webcam for PC and Mac

It connects. It change the camera mode by the pc on the phone. However I seen no image. Bought pro version. Seems a waste of time and money.

Doesnt establish stable connection to Win10 PC with drivers installed, even after reboot.
The app will momentarily show video and the desktop app will momentarily not show the settings window, only for it to flash back to “make sure you’re on the same WiFi network” general menu. This dance repeats.
Firewall settings are fine. Dev offers no support option on their site.
A bit of a red flag when it comes to who one would want to install drivers from on their machine.
Thankfully it’s free. Hopefully my paranoia about the Windows driver is just that; paranoia.

This is really a great app; much better wuality than my old 2010 webcam.
One feature would be awesome; being able to start/stop the camera and mute/unmute the mic right from the phone screen.
There is plenty of room on the side below the cameraswitch, torch and mirror.

Works smoothly on macbook air with iPhone. I cannot find however a way to use 2 iPhones simultaneously like on windows. Is there a way?

Today I was using Iriun but Windows 10-x64 application crashes frequently when combining 2 camera’s, one free camera (iPhone Xr) and one with Pro camera (iPhone 12).

Since the 2.5 update of the iOS app, my pc and the app won’t connect anymore. Tried different phones and pc/laptop (mainly using linux, but tried windows also), but the same issue is with all combinations. Otherwise great app and using it on a daily basis!

Latest update iOS app and Windows app makes the video look disproportional in Zoom on Windows.

I use it daily on my pc and it works very well. My only remark or rather request is to make it remember the last used orientation of the camera (horizontal flip option). Then it would be perfect.

Was using the epoc alternative until it did not run wel anymore on the new Apple M1 with Chrome. Iriun worked within minutes without any hick-ups.

Ik heb deze app thuis gebruikt. Maar in mijn werkplaats het is niet gelukt. Het werk met hetzelfde wireless. En vraagt het ook betaling. Ik snap het niet waarom werkt het niet op een andere plaats.

I love this app and use it on a daily base to use my iPhone as a webcam for my windows laptop.
On my Mac however it doesn’t work, the app connects to the Mac but other software like teams or photo boot fail to detect it.

ik heb Pro aangeschaft maar het werkt niet!
Er blijft een pop-up venster in mijn beeld verschijnen dat ik niet connected zou zijn!
Terwijl alles goed is aangesloten. Zowel WiFi en met een kabel geprobeerd! Niets help!
Weg geld en heel irritatie!

My laptop cam is really trash and this helps a lot when my recording video’s and online class. Easy to setup, great resolutie

It is very simple to set up and it just works with good quality image (depending on your phone’s camera of course)
Some feature suggestions:
- auto orientation of the screen. I have the image upside down sometimes when I start because of my phone’s position. Also I would like to have it in portrait mode sometimes.
- optimize bandwidth use. At certain locations the wifi connection is a bit unstable and when bandwidth drops it seems to struggle. Prioritize the webcam audio over the video.

Works great except that when at home I login to the company network it stops. iPhone and laptop are on the same WiFi but in that case my iPhone cannot be detected. A solution would be if I could use the USB cable. If so … five stars

Love the app, it’s easy to use, there are no stupid ads (thank you!) but I miss the option to mirror my image. Is it possible to add this function? That’s why the 4 stars ;)

No bells and whistles, just a great app that turns your iPhone into a HD webcam. Choice of different resolutions, front and back camera, easy to set up. Better than other apps.
