iFiles

Hoe word je rijk. Eerst een app ontwikkelen die goed werkt en dan vervolgens na jaren een nieuwe app ontwikkelen en met de oude app stoppen met updates in de hoop dat je die nieuwe app koopt. MOOI NIET.
Verder hoef je ook niet om support te vragen want ze geven je niet eens antwoord. Erg lomp.

Werkt zoals het hoort. En alle bestanden van cloud services en bestanden van mijn mac bij elkaar.
Ik gebruik deze app al jaren zonder gedoe.

De app belooft een soort van verkenner voor de iPad te zijn. Het toont alleen geen enkel bestand wat elders op de iPad staat, maar enkel wat je er zelf in zet of wat je elders in de cloud hebt. Dat heb dan in één overzicht. Maar daar zijn veel andere apps, afzonderlijk, veel beter in.
Voor mij heeft deze app geen enkele toegevoegde waarde. Jammer.

Just downloaded. Still have to test. But a must have for the future is SMB/ CIFS support or NFS. I was very positive about the app at start, but since the latest ios upgrade it constantly crashes at start. So I reduce my 4 stars to 1 star.

Support for all major connections. Wifi, Google drive, sftp, etc. I use this app to connect securely to my server and Google drive. Perfect!

On the surface this file manager appears to be better than most. I relied on iFiles for almost a year. Unfortunately it was still consuming some 800 MB of memory after I deleted all my files and emptied its cloud caches. I am hoping for a free update to a much more stable version 2.0! For now I am switching to ReaddleDocs...

I've tried many file managers for the iPad (and spent a few euros in the process) but this one is by far the best.
Seamless integration of Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, Google Drive and Dropbox is what I use for.
The ftp connection to my own file server at home is a must! This app supports the ftp plus the seamless integration of the cloud based storages out there.
Tiled viewing of pictures, much easier file selection than other apps, and a "select all" option!
Only whishes: an easier pincode entry screen (similar to for instance the Dropbox app) and support for SMB shares for when I'm on my home network. If you add the SMB support I can finally ditch all other file managers.

Please ad unrar with password support

Ik zocht een snelle manier om data muziek word documenten home video's en pdf bestanden op de iPad te zetten.
Die heb ik gevonden met deze app.
Je maakt eenvoudig verbinding door de http adres in te type die weer word gegeven op je iPad, Die type je in op je mac of windows computer in de internet browser
Een maal in het menu in je web browser klik je op uploaden selecteer het bestand en het is onderweg naar je iPad uploaden gaat lekker vlot ik wil het haast gaan vergelijken met het overzetten van data op de hdd naar een usb stick
Ik ben zeer tevreden voor mij de hele 3 euro meer dan waard
Voorheen gebruikte ik mijn hotmail om mijn documenten naar de iPad teverzenden maar de pdf's die ik gebruik zijn veelste groot om ze via mail teverzenden of via een andere manier.
Met ifiles heb je snel all je video's muziek pdf word documenten op je iPad.

Managing all your documents, pictures, mp3's, video's etc is easy with iFiles. So is working with Google docs and Picasa.

When comparing eReaders, iPad and iPhone for an easy and comfortable way to read pdf's, docs and docxs I found out that iFiles is far superior to Stanza. Go and try for yourself!
Furthermore: Dropbox won't let you send pics without your 'location' turned on, for no other reason than forcing you to reveal to Apple your wherabouts. Well, you CAN -ofcourse- send pics to dropbox when using iFiles as an intermediate step.
Dropbox and iFiles: a great combination! Five stars for me.

Worthless support....they don't even respond when you send them message. App does not work with Windows7/IE

Het is even uitzoeken maar documenten tussen iPhone en iPad uitwisselen via transfercommando loopt makkelijk. Wel de beide wifi's aanzetten zodat 'ze' elkaar kunnen herkennen. En natuurlijk: ifiles op beide apparaten downloaden. ;-)

Waardeloos programma, want er zit geen gebruiksaanwijzing bij. Ben nu al uur bezig uit te vinden hoe ik van files terug kan komen in folders.

Only 1 bug so far (iPhone 4 with iOS 5):
When you hold down your finger for the submenu, it appears, but when you release you finger the file is automatically being downloaded...
Hope you can fix this...
But still, 5 stars for me!
