iCab Mobile (Web Browser)

It used to be perfect for privacy, but since version 11, the guest mode has been crippled. Leaving out important options and leave some worthless color options instead!
In guest mode it will close the session while switching back and forth to another app, and the download button is gone. Rather bad downgrade.

Doesnt work to spoof the browseragent for video streaming on an old iPad (for which theres no supported app anymore)

I have Google in a pinned tab, and in my Google search settings, I have enabled the option that search results should open in a new window. Since version 10.7.4 however, with the new setting “Skip tracking links on Google Search” enabled, search results open in the pinned tab, rather than in a new tab. With the new setting disabled, it works as expected. Maybe the behaviour is a side effect of the new setting, but it could be a bug too.

This browser supports sites that Safari just chokes on. Very specific example is the management UI for Ubiquiti Unifi equipment. Safari says no. With iCab it simply works. It also has its own plugin system of sorts providing you with lots of quality of life features. Highly recommended.

I have been using this browser since the first iPad. Why it isn’t more known/popular, I really don’t understand. The helpdesk is also excellent! Very sympathetic.

iCab is an excellent browser. However using iPad’s Magic Keyboard i can’t swipe back and forward on its trackpad, hope this can be fixed. Also I would like to use the arrow keys when navigating between downloaded images in full screen.

I’m using this browser since the beginning of iPad. It is very feature rich and seldomly crashes. It’s also very user friendly.
It gets updates and new features regularly and support is excellent.
I don’t understand why this app isn’t on top of the charts ...

I’ve been using it since the day it was first released. Great, feature rich and stable. I use it daily to download files and upload those to my Dropbox. Just one example of the countless possibilities this browser offers. Great support by the developer as well.

I bought this app long time ago and used it seldom. After redownloading it on a new device it asks for buying it all again. Restore function does not work.
Excuse me Mr. Developer?! If you don’t take care of your paid users.. what do you care for? Selling it twice? 3 times 4 times?

Most extensive iOS browser there is. Does nearly everything you could dream of to have on a mobile device. Too bad I hadnt discovered this app sooner. Support is awesome aswell. :)

Heel blij met deze browser. Hoe krijg ik sharen met Pinterest aan de loop? Hij vraagt of je de afbeelding wil opslaan in Pinterest, maar ik krijg niet het menu van Pinterest in beeld.

A couple of years ago it used to be a browser which had to offer something. It was ahead in its time. Nowadays it's kind of an old fashion browser. You can't even use proper last pass anymore since you can't authenticate. I am a premium user but I switched to simpler browsers since it do not offer what I need anymore..

Got fed up with Safari constantly reloading webpages on the iPad. (Many have complaints) Searching for a browser without this problem I rediscovered CAB, which used to be the best browser for the good old Atari's. And it still is, but now for the iPad! ICab is very fast, has everything you need, and loads pages without contant delay.

Since the latest iOS update 9.0.2 I have constant problems with iCab Mobile.
The browser keeps on crashing all the time. After a new start-up mostly you can go on from where you were, but it is almost impossible to browse for 3 to 5 minutes without being closed down.
Very, very annoying ! And that while I've been a very satisfied user from the beginning. But in this way I can't keep on using iCab Mobile if no problem-solving update is offered.
