The App is really great, but it drains my battery on my iPhone 17 very rapidly. Am I doing something wrong or is the App to enthusiastically?

I use this app now from 2025 sept. I’m very happy with this app in combination with my home server. A lot of energy use is now optimized. I use this app on my phone to see the results

Instable on iPad via webbrowser ok. White screen, only way is to deïnstalleren/install app. Stability getting worse and worse. Need restart at least twice a day.
Can’ t Connect. Via webbrowser ha is up and running. Only restart of iPad solve the problem. I have never seen such a worse build app. Even 1 star is to much.

The app fails to switch to external URLs, have tried all possible settings and combinations. This app is not usable outside home/local networks.

Can’t seem to clear notifications with a clear notification message. Don’t know if thats a companion bug or iOS bug.

The app looses connection every time the screen has locked. After that sometimes it’s after two or three times, sometimes it don’t. Connection by browser always work great.

Na installatie hing de app. En wel op zo’n manier dat ik mijn iPad geforceerd moest herstarten. Lijkt het gevolg van het feit dat er geen inlognaam en wachtwoord ingegeven kan worden.
Dus na de herstart de server weggegooid en opnieuw toegevoegd, met inlognaam en wachtwoord.

De meldingen voor de iPhone versie van de app kunnen niet (meer) geactiveerd worden. De iPad versie werkt nog wel

The dev is friendly and looking into the reported issue. I am wrong and change my review.
HA core (not this app) is the one that needs to make improvements for better experience:
* map behaviour of sometimes zooming out fully
* tap/hold sometimes recognised as single tap
* zones really need improvement over the
current circle shapes that lead to issues as non-precise location and false triggers

It’s relatively slow/messy, and buggy with maps zoom.
Zones are bad. Mandatory circle shape leading go non-precise locationing. But this is HA-side.
Since an update early 2024: Interface moves around outside of the screen when zoomed out (e.g. setting 85% zoom) while touching. Sliders very difficult to grab.

I’m a big fan of the app, only since a couple of weeks i seriously get annoyed by misaligned buttons on the screen. When configuring i often modify neighboring items. Fix this please

Since the last update no connection problems anymore. Kudo’s for the developers.

This app has been performing its tasks flawlessly for quite a while now. Also after updates. At least in my particular situation and for my smart home. I really like that.

With the latest updates of the app, I have more connection problems. Getting a message Can’t connect retry.
Another strange thing I can’t get most of the time a connection by 2.4GHz wifi, but need to switch to 5GHz (HA is connected wired) or by using mobile. Can’t figure out why.
Still glad I found HA some years ago for my Home Automation. You still need to be a Tech (or having lots of times) to handle everything. That’s the only downside. Still can’t set a simple timer to turn off my AC after some time. Need helpers, templates, automation and I don’t know what to do this. So still using the old methods for some automations outside of HA.

The app was already excellent, but with the addition of the ‘Assist’ features on my Apple Watch, it has become even better. I no longer need Google for voice commands. Thank you!

2025.7 update with HA 2025.7.2, scripts no longer work after update from the Apple Watch. Trying to open HA on the watch immediately closes the app

Installing the App on my iPad2022 i got message you are unauthorised before i input my username and then wen password, logging in local or ip address is forbiddenerror 403, restoring backup then logging in local or ip is succesfull.
