Hipstamatic® Analog Camera

Used to be great. Now the the interface is messy, clouded with tons of presets made everybody who has an account :-/ The original lenses and film rolls, which made the app so great, are hard to find in this digital wasteland.

I love Hipstamatic and I have all filters on the both apps thanks to lifetime membership. Using it since 2010. But there is something I need to say: the viewfinder is black and white and a bit crazy. Can I switch it to other views? For example: super clear full color? One other thing (on my iPhone 16), the app shuts down after deleting a picture I just made. Another thing. I don’t want to shake my phone to see the picture I’ve just made. Please make it a little bit more lightning fast, more intuitive. For example: just place ALL settings of this app in one place. Just one settings page. One last thing: I have all filters (that is a lot). Is there a way to quickly find the one I need? One last last thing: couldn’t find the contact options (customer support) in this app.

A lot of money for something I already bought in hipstamatic classic. Also why do I have to restart my iPhone every three days because hipstamatic says I have no iCloud connection?

Haven’t been using Hipstamatic for a few years and decided to take a look. I somehow cannot login this app with my existing account? Yet I have to use my Apple ID. Well, about to delete the app again.

This one not so much, it jumps on the subscription wagon although i have bought most of the packs already. So no thanks!

I’ve been using the classic app for years and just rediscovered Hipstamatic with the new app. Importing my old stuff went well but the app quits regularly. At the passport thing, can’t add a photo to my id, blacks out when I’m building a new camera. Really annoying.

This app has potential, but still needs some work. As a Classic user I was offered €33 for a lifetime membership, not sure if it’s worth it though and am unable to get a refund.
I need a larger viewfinder on my small iPhone SE. Or be able to do searches for specific lenses or films while building a camera. I’ll stick to the Classic app for now.
A rating system for lenses and films would be awesome for both apps. The amount of available gear is pretty overwhelming.

Love the new auto filter mode and the old retro shoot and feel. I have a lot of filters from my original hipstamatic imported and this is a fun new way to re discover them.

A more efficient way to setup your camera. Had some trouble migrating from the earlier version. Very fast and friendly help from support.

i dislike this app allready. Why do I have to pay 33 euros for a ‘lifetime membership’ I have allready invested a sum of money in your films and lenses. And why have you decided to make picking of the films and lenses so difficult with those flying / floating films in the ‘sky’. Really dont like it.

It has been my favourite app the last 10 years. Used it since the launch back then. This new update makes the use of Hipstamatic future proof and I was glad to take the special offer for old skool users! Looking forward to use it and what the future will bring for the app!
Amazing that an app after all these years still has such a large following! Good job!
