• Create your workout with your own exercises or choose from the 50+ simple exercises with animated images and visualizations of the affected primary and secondary muscle groups

Important: this update includes a major database migration. On first launch, please allow the app to complete the process without closing it.
Despite thorough testing, errors may still occur. To be safe, create a manual backup and/or perform a Cloud update before updating. If you need assistance with creating a backup, please reach out to the GymBook team via support@gymbookapp.com.
If a migration error occurs, please use the provided button to share the error and database with the GymBook team.

* Workout groups and workout exercise groups can now be renamed and reordered.
* Sets now support
* repetition and time ranges,
* optional weight (for bodyweight exercises, hidden weights are removed from the UI for clarity),
* optional distance (hidden distances are removed from the UI, for clarity), and
* notes.
* Notes for exercises within a workout can now be added and edited directly in the workout. If present, they are always displayed below the exercise name and can be edited by long-pressing them. Note: If you want to add notes which are not shown in a fixed way during the workout, the notes on the exercise itself can be used.
The database has also been updated to support upcoming features, including effort tracking (RIR, RPE) and 1RM% targets.

Workouts, exercises, and sets can now also be reordered by simply dragging and dropping — you can simply hold and move any row.

The ‘Exercises’ screen has been simplified. You can now filter more easily by target region and even combine multiple regions if needed.

You can now track your estimated 1RM directly in line graphs, making it easier to follow your strength progress.
Graph customization has also improved — you can now adjust lines directly within a line graph instead of going through 'Settings'. And each line can now be set independently based on exercise type (strength, cardio, or stretching) and data type, so you can, for example, combine average repetitions with total weight lifted.
Furthermore, a new period 'All' can be selected, in order to show all data depending on the period.
Finally, the workout completion screen now also shows the heat maps for stretching and cardio.

MeerLove the app, finally an app that doesn’t require you to subscribe, on the same time packed with lots of features, options, stats, even make your own workouts, schedules, timers, etc.

MeerVery minimalistic app (in a good way) – there are only the functions you really need, minimum actions required to log workouts. Great illustrations.

MeerThis is a nice looking app, very easy to build your own exercises with a large catalog and an easy way to add exercises not in the catalog.
Biggest thing missing is a goal tracker. Lets say you want to work up to a certain weight lifting goal, it doesn’t really help you work toward that, just tracks what you’ve lifted so far. Would be a great addition.4door Saj***11/08/2024
