Complete overhaul is complete failure
It was a basic fine working chat app, lately they completely overhauled it and gave it a "fresh new look" since then it's clitchy as f¡@k ! Option to input text sometimes disappears, you need to leave a chat and come back to have it reappear. It crashes on a regular basis and inputting "meme" labels in pictures doesn't work on the iPad version, you input it but can't post the pic.
It was a great simple app but the upgrade did not do it any favors , PLS fix it.
It's used A LOT for games as crime city and modern warfare as a group chat if you wanna use it as a private chat I suggest whatsapp or line works way better and way more stable
Function degraded with latent function
App itself is great, and I use it a lot. The latest incarnation is nice and fresh looking, however it has some drawbacks;
- adding pictures with comments is no longer possible. Selecting an image sends it without the possibility of adding text. In busier rooms this makes it next to impossible adding your comment in time
- when another room has activity while typing, this may result in switching to that room and posting there instead of the room where you are typing
- when switching rooms, sometimes the text box is not appearing. Switching back and forth will get the text box back, but it is annoying.
In all, don't update if you are still on the old version and are still on iOS7.x... Not yet
Groupme after with ios8...
Before installing Ios8 , it works ok, but after I can,t add my photo,s to sent it, please repair this,
The Groupme app is a good way of sending messages for family and sportteams as example.
When the photo problem is over I give it 4 stars
