Flacbox: Hi-Res Muziekspeler

I bought this laggy app with several broken functions. Settings are messy and all over the place, and the design feels outdated and clumsy, the app is just eating up battery. And the app is not working anymore. The innovation; just another money grab! Secretly updating their refund decision without an email. Give them… the money. It’s a charity!

I have been using cloud music solutions for a long time now. While they are great for discovery of new music, I was missing the ability to manage my favorite album collections in an effective way, especially in combination with offline listening. Now with Flacbox, I have total freedom again which of my favorite digitized CDs I would like to have in my collection. Browsing through this collection in Flacbox is super easy, with many options that you would expect to have. And it has great an Apple CarPlay interface, much more effective in finding my favorite albums before starting my drive somewhere than the cloud applications. Flacbox is like having my iPod classic back again, for endless offline listening sessions.

Good player with nice functionalities. The ads, however, are very intrusive and ruin the experience.

Very bad clumsy interface, absolutely terrible file management, unnecessary functionality which you CAN NOT disable, overall outdated design. Waste of money!

I use a program in Windows that wil solve that problem for you and its cald EZ CD converter

Sinds ik een proefabonnement bij Apple Music heb gehad, was mijn muziekbibliotheek op mijn Mac een rommeltje en kon ik niet meer goed synchroniseren met mijn nieuwe iPad. Daarom ging ik op zoek naar een aternatief, en vond dat uiteindelijk in deze app. Al mijn muziekalbums staan er keurig in. Zo blij mee! Wel een kleine opmerking naar de ontwikkelaars: geef er een video bij met een duidelijke handleiding. Het was namelijk wel een hele uitzoekerij. Maar afgezien daarvan: helemaal top!

Works well for the most part, but unfortunately most of the embedded album art for my flac files won’t display at all. Would love to see this fixed, as I spent a lot of time meticulously tagging all my files.
Weirdly enough the album covers do show up when opening the audio tag editor. But they don’t show up in the Now Playing screen.

Works nice, but could be a better option to load your own media from the phone storage. Just a option scan media on the phone and add it

I love the app, but I noticed the album artwork is no longer appearing. I have tried reinstalling the app, still the album covers are no longer showing.
Besides that, it is a first class app. I cannot find fault.

Some improvements, the user interface could be better, specifically when browsing unpnp media server.
Als please add gapless playback.

My first review was not so good but man, this app has much improved since then. Quicker synchronization and quicker in response and still the improvements are coming. I would say buy the version. An issue that I still have is that when I cast to google nest audio the connection is lost. Otherwise it would get 5 stars

Heb de gekochte versie van programma. Waarom wordt limited version getoond。 Ook doet de tot nu altijd werkende webdav verbinding hetmniet meer。

I have been using this app for ages now and I keep finding new ways to enjoy my listening experience. The app is well worth the asking price. I have used dozens of other music apps, but I keep going back to this one as my daily driver.

With every update the UI is becoming worse. And that is still the case. My carefully set folder structure is now gone with the last update. What an idiot.

Thanks for the good app. But maybe a option to skip like 15/30 seconds of a song. Instead of swiping. And add a option to load your podcast to. Keep up the good work

The app hangs itself every few minutes while synchronizing from a NAS (Dlna). Syncing is sooo slow.

Uitstekende lossless player voor o.a. Apple Lossless (.m4a).
Mijn muziekcollectie heeft een backup in de cloud, die via webdav bereikbaar is. Flacbox werkt hier uitstekend mee!
