Firefox Snelle privébrowser

I loved this browser on all devices for the amount of privacy protection it provides.
I’ll still continue to use it on laptops and PC, but ever since the ‘iOS Liquid Glass’ update came out for iPad devices, my iPad is chickening out and playing hardcore techno music against my own will. And yet, I clicked on nothing.
I was just browsing the home page of Reddit when this playlist I was listening to popped up. It first started off with only regional rave music with more and more hardcore techno sprinkled in, until it suddenly switched to this hilariously weird mix of Frenchcore, gabber, uptempo hardcore, hardstyle, breakcore, trance and hardtek music. Yep, the vocals on there are all created using voice synthesizers. I swear some of the music is even created by very famous artists in the hardcore/rave community. I unmuted the audio for a little bit out of curiousity and found out it even played a very popular Mondotek song. It wasn’t even from the actual browser itself. lol
And surely enough, if I try to circumvent it by forcing a restart, my iPad is simply playing online radio 24/7. Getting rid of this app solved my issues.
Mozilla, if you don’t get rid of adware from your app, I’ll stop using your browser. I have autism and do not wish to be triggered from trying to browse the internet. I even suspect I have sound-induced epilepsy, meaning that this app is not only very dangerous but also considered ILLEGAL! Stop publishing adware to advertise music to users. I’m not rich and rely almost exclusively on money from the government.
I wish there was an user-friendly, independently developed and privacy-friendly alternative to most browsers. No wonder multi-millionaire companies can get violently disrespectful towards its userbase.

Ik gebruik pas Firefox en ben er erg blij mee. Mooie en rustige lay-out. Aanpasbaar door veel extensies en bloed snel!

"Vind je FireFox leuk?" Ik denk het wel? Ik ben nog van de Netscape generatie en bedacht me pas nog dat het ook wel erg leuk zou zijn, als Mozilla de naam Netscape weer gaat gebruiken. Geen idee of dat kan...

Its a good browser but still too bad that we cant add Extentions in the browser like on PC en Android.

It feels like Firefox is dropping the ball on iPad. The browser is not Apple-conform with closing the App, it should close with Control-W. I also get confronted with Firefox suddenly opening links in new tabs, instead of the same tab. I need to close the app and restart it to get rid of this behavior, which is really annoying.

Sorry, het wordt steeds minder… en daar baal ik van. Al jaren trouwe gebruiker, maar Mozilla is echt ergens de weg kwijtgeraakt. De browser ontwikkelt niet meer vanuit de gebruiker en privacy-first, maar gedreven door trends als AI en de zoektocht naar extra inkomsten. De performance is inmiddels ook ver te zoeken en inmiddels standaard functionaliteiten in andere browsers, zijn (deels) op desktop maar nog steeds niet op mobiel. Jammer, hopelijk draait het ergens weer bij, maar ook de laatste updates waren vooral ‘achtergrond verbeteringen’.

URL/navigation bar keeps disappearing and app has to be restarted for it to be restored. It also randomly shows desktop versions of pages while desktop mode is not activated. The Firefox experience is different on every single device and feedback on this topic gets ignored.

Best browser for security and privacy, afaik. Have been using it for years, on mobile and pc devices.

Opent gauw een nieuwe bladwijzer, daarna nog 1, etc. zeer vervelend daar moet wat aan gedaan worden. Op pc heb je daar geen last van. Das het altijd het nadeel van apps. Werkt nooit fijn en goed zoals op de pc.

Mozilla is gevestigd in de VS. Dat is tegenwoordig geen aanbeveling meer. Maar Firefox is Open Source, dus alles wat ze beweren is te controleren. Het is tot in detail af te stemmen op je wensen en eisen met betrekking tot cookies, trackers en ander ongerief.
De perfecte browser.

How many devs do you need to have the option for the address bar at the bottom? ON THE iPad.

De laatste tijd gebeurt het vaak dat websites een keer of 6 refreshen om vervolgens een blak scherm te geven. Erg onbruikbaar.

Terrible. No real easy full screen, no real Mac/pc desktop mode, no real private with automatic clean ALL data on close. No real blank page at startup . Irritating pop up tab or last used, no delete unwanted search sites. And on and on …. F-fox dictating me how and what I use the preferences.

Been a Mozilla fan and happy Firefox user for over a decade but “Send to Device” - my most used feature in the mobile app - disappeared in the update 2025-Sept 3). The new … menu design is much more efficient but for this change. I’d replace the item “Desktop website” with “Send to device” as I don’t think it’s anywhere near as useful. Finding the “Send to” took a minute (now part of the menu that hitting the “share” icon in the URL box), and 4 months later I’m still stumbling around this move half the time.

Best alternative to Chromium browsers. I left a feature request a while ago and they listened. Cannot recommend this enough!

I love Firefox, have been using it for years. Unfortunately Firefox is losing grip. More and more bugs pop up and the Apple compatibility is way off these days. Since Liquid Glass is there, this is very visible. Perhaps I need to go find another browser…

Firefox is great, always used it for about 20 years now. But please give us a little more customisation! Especially the navbar, give us an option for it to stay put. Automatically hiding is buggy, it always hides when you need it, doesn’t go down when you expect it to and on top of that it bugs out half the time and stays frozen halfway so you have to close the app completely and reopen for it to function again. On top of that, I’ve never heard anyone say they liked automatically hiding navbars. So don’t copy Google, they’ve consistently made wrong decisions for the last 6 years and Chrome sucks. Stop copying an inferior browser. Be the superior browser you’ve always been!
Smal update: suggested passwords don’t seem to get saved (automatically) anymore.
Another update: copying Chrome, the worst browser in the world, has made Firefox almost unusable. Fix the navbar or at least let us choose the old one! The whole thing is so counterintuitive now. What a mess!
The tab navigation has become unbearably slow, it takes 5 to 10 seconds to reopen a tab or close one. Copying the hot garbage that is Chrome really isn’t working! And why is the reopening of closed tabs button gone? It happens way more often now that tabs get closed by accident. Because taps get confused for swipes since these terribly bad updates (downgrades).
