F1 TV: Stream F1® live

F1 tv is good, but the streaming via tv is very bad. It keeps on bufffering and freezing. I read on the internet that I’m not the only one with this experience.

For some reason it is exceedingly hard for Formula 1 to make a function app. All other platforms can handle live streaming, convenient rewind and fast forward plus AirPlay. But not F1TV. You’re trying to rewind a bit? Hahaha, no! Watching with a bit of a delay? Here’s a live view to ruin the race for you! AirPlay? Let me make sure to crash every once in a while!
I’m actually paying a lot of money to view! More than I pay for Netflix, but somehow F1 never thinks it’s their responsibility to provide a way to view the races.

One very simply thing, being logged in, is codes very poorly. At seemingly random instances I have to log in again. I can scan the qr with my iPhone, get logged in but arrive in the login screen where one enteres one’s credentials In have to navigate back to arrive at the content I want to see. Now seemingly random moments? Yes. Yesterday I used the app on my Apple TV and this morning I had to log in to use the app. It’s not like there’s a time out requiring you to log in when you haven’t used the app for let’s say a week or two. Sometimes after a week, other times the next day. It’s been like this for as long as I’ve used this app so it doesn’t seem to be on the radar of developers

Due to the lack of an app for Samsung TVs have to use Airplay to view on my TV. Continuously having issues with the connection. Pretty much unusable…

no need to have it continously, like on a NASCAR, but some delta times, lap times of the particular driver, woul be higly appriciated throught the race

Loved the app but since august 2026 a lot of micro stutters and freezing frames on the Apple TV device. Please fix this!

Het is een fijne app waar je alle onderdelen van het weekend kan zien en terugzien. Wel storend is dat het streamen naar tv vaak tot storing leidt.

Every year de devs manage to screw something else up on AppleTV. Player issues and even worse the video halts a couple of seconds every 1-2 minutes while audio continues. Please make sure basic video playing works before any other functionality which is hardly used anyway.

In mijn leven heb ik nog NOOIT zo’n walgelijke evaring gehad als een abonnement afsluiten bij deze app wat een ongelofelijke geld hongerige k** app het is alsof ze geen nieuwe abonnementen willen hebben

Lately I haven’t been able to tether my iPhone and iPad to my television anymore. It worked for years, why remove that feature? I used it a lot when I’m abroad.
Also since the last update video on the Apple TV app is stumbling; video freezes for a second or two, then continues. This happens every 80 seconds during a race (No it’s not a bandwidth issue).
In short, I experience issues remote and at home. Totally unacceptable!

Always struggles to even cast in full HD despite paying for 4K quality and having well over 500mb/s internet speed. And everytime I press on play from start whilst the race has begun and I press cast it just goes straight to live. Spoiling a race everytime without fail. Keep cranking those prices up and making your service worse and worse. Moneygrabbers.
Update: Surprise! It still doesn’t work.
Update: Sure, let’s remove the picture quality selector. I love watching F1 in 240p despite having well over 500mpbs and only paying hundreds of euro’s for this service! Excellent work!

Why must i login after every update? It’s getting anoying. Still no progress in this area.

Op er oude LG moet je maar even afwachten of die goed streamt naar de tv. Dat komt omdat door de wekelijkse of
Maandelijkse updates. Alsnog mooie app

How can an expensive app like this keep on performing so poorly? Again multiple errors during the race

Truly a constant disappointment.
- Airplay issues
- Chromecast issues
- Using your phone while using the above issues
- no language memory
- but does remember where other users left off on vod’s, like who wants that?
If you read this and give anything about the sport or your job, please make native apps for major smart tv brands. Take yourself seriously please.

De nieuwe versie, na zomerstop, geeft bij keuze Engels commentaar Sky-reporters. Ruth, Laura, David en zo zijn niet te selecteren. Volgens website zouden zij onder Engels Int. staan. Maar DEZE keuze zit niet in de App. Een GROOT gemis. We kiezen juist niet voor het Nederlandse geratel en hebben nu Engels geratel. LOS OP!
