Worst app upgrade ever
MeerRidiculous that a major UI upgrade made the app the worst app to navigate. And even worse are the timeouts. What a waste of energy

MeerAbsolutely insane app. What could be very simple - almost trivial in fact - becomes crazy because of malicious automation called ‘concierge’ that moves your expenses, changes your reports and just keeps doing the wrong thing all the time. Support reacts with something like ‘ah yes that doesn’t sound great, but it’s because you’re doing it wrong! What are you thinking; adding expenses when it’s convenient for you; that’s not the Expensify philosophy’

MeerNot able to add multiple attachments per expense. Therefore not useful at all. Example, 1 attachment is the receipt, 2nd attachment is the proof of bank transfer showing the currency exchange.

MeerI never hated any app or software that much. It is made to annoy you from icon choices to logic. It doesn’t simplify anything but adds so much burden with its terrible engineering.

MeerThe app asks for feedback (NPS) on how much we would recommend to a friend and then asks for feedback.
The Concierge then confirms that the requested fixes/updates are not planned and that your feedback goes straight to the garbage bin.

MeerI could never complete any expense reporting without getting frustrated with this app. There is always something causing as much time as old traditional reporting ways. For example, last time I made the pics off each receipt and uploaded them. Everything seemed fine. But later, pics of some receipts disappeared for no reason. I gotta find those specific ones in the pile and retake their pics. So lots of wasted time. Then why at the first place are we paying to those guys?

MeerApp was pretty complicated and finicky to use and didn’t help me much. Months after deleting I keep getting stupid emails and they won’t even let me unsubscribe so I am redownloading the app just to sort this out.

MeerI really liked (& promoted among colleagues) using expensify, but I'm not happy since the most recent update.
Three main points
1. When typing 60,78 it changes to 6078,00.. there are different international ways of typing decimals. When I enter an amount, the only decimal character my screen/keyboard gives is a , (comma). I cannot even enter a . (dot) on my phone which has Dutch as it’s basic settings. So likely the automation in the app should be altered?
2. When adding a new expense; it keeps using a currency I’m NOT using where I am now. I have tried to change the standard currency of the app already but without any noticeable success. So with every expense I have to change the currency2door Ikk*****10/01/2018Nice, yet not perfect
MeerGreat way to scan and recognise the bills, new user and first impression is good in that sense. Now. I am not a US citizen and immediately run into the situation set-up is not really for other than US. Still, it seems workable, have to figure out quite a bit on your own, where google provides you with the info needed. Take a couple of minutes to search, read and setup... hoping 2.0 allows other nationals to set up the accounts easily...

MeerYou can select EUR but thats just the sign. Comma en dot notation are US bases on credit card manual import you meed to change all lines manual. 20,00 euro becomes 2000?! Support is not fixing this, too much effort - it is labeled as an 'inconvenience'? Well than its useless for me!
