I bought em client as an alternative to outlook. I am sorry i did. It offers what literally everyone does but with technical hitches. And i though i bought a life time licence but it was set to renew after a year. Avoid.

Local maps in app. You turn local maps off, but when your restart eM Client the local maps are on again.

I am using enClient in all my devices. I like the options look and feel on this and other devices

It’s a great application, but somehow since a few days in keep crashing on iPad…

Since today I cannot open the app anymore. i restarted my iPad but nothing helps. The app can be used on my phone which is a Samsung. Is it a problem of Apple?

I have been using this since the beta, but recently I have been having issues with shared mailboxes on the iOS app, where it just won’t update when requested and I sometimes need to restart the app to try and get everything working again. This looks to only be an issue with Exchange(/Office 365) since my imap accounts work properly.
Another thing that looks strange is that it won’t always update the mailbox until I open the app, automatic sync and the “push” feature doesn’t seem to work.
So far it looks like there is almost always something with exchange account in the iOS app while on the PC and MacOS it’s working great.
If all of this can be fixed I would change the review for a 5 star since for me it’s still one of the best if not *the best* client.
Update since August 2025, the client now regularly shows emails from other folders, emails that have been deleted or even from completely different mailboxes. This makes me not able to trust this app at all anymore and I have moved away from it. Sad to do this but it’s been to annoying and I can’t be bothered by doing support for something that should be essential to never go passed any QA testing.

Wat ik in MS Outlook niet voor elkaar kreeg, gaat in deze app moeiteloos nl mijn zakelijke account werkende krijgen. Plus de interactie met mijn iPhone en iPad werkt heel goed!

On my Macbook 100% ok but i have mail and calender there, but on my iPhone only mail?

- Cannot use alias as default email to send emails with.
- Can only show up to three lines instead of 5 like Apple Mail.
- I do not receive notification sounds when an email is received despite my iOS settings being enabled for the app for sound and also not having my iPhone on mute or on DND.
- Logo looks wack. Too formal and not modern.

Currently working on iOS with (licensed!) eM Client on both Macbook and iPhone.
I’m very much missing the calendar that is available for the computer version. What makes it so hard to combine that in the phone app?
I would happily give 5 stars when the calendar comes up as well.

I love the app and great to have the same email client as in my laptop. The only thing is it take too long before all the new emails are downloaded … I often use the standard email client of apple if I want a quick peak checking new emails.

Works great. I do own the Desktop full/paid version as well. What I do miss and therefore unusable for me is the sidebar with all the folders. I want this permanent enabled and not as popup bar. Otherwise 5 star.

Still not working. Getting notification about new mail but only after opening the app mails get downloaded. Did someone test this software or what.? Switching back to working e-mail cliënt.

Loving it, especially the easy setup when using the link with in my case, the windows version.
Hopefully a badge, saying how many unread mails there are, will be added soon.

Great alternative en looks very well. I hope there comes support for .ics files to save them directly to your calendar.

For me as a happy long time user of eM Client on Windows PC's the release of an iOS client was a very pleasant surprise. I've been beta-testing it on iPhones and iPads for many months now and I'm completely satisfied with the product. It is a safe, private, solid, no nonsense and professional e-mail client and I recommend it.

I am using it quite some time on a Windows laptop and it is a great client. I have been testing it on my iPhone as well and it was a pleasure to use it. The integration with the windows client is great and the app itself works very smooth. Go get it yourself!
