DS note

Last update was two years ago. I saw a video on
YouTube from 10 years ago that has the same layout as now days. Please update! Don’t wanna go to oneNote

I just moved my notes from iCloud to this app and a day later all my notes were empty. This app will delete your data with no way to get it back. Do not use it!

It’s been two months since they acknowledged an issue with logging in securely (with HTTPS) via direct connect and they haven’t released an update yet. Extremely dissatisfied!

Definitely liking the app so far. Able to search within the PDF files is also a great addition.
One thing I’m missing though is the ability to easily import PDF’s through the share / export menu within iOS. It’s possible for images and other files, so why not PDF’s? Hopefully this can be added.

The sync feature deleted all notes, this feature is implemented in a bad way by synology. Restore was pointless because of this.

Good for taking notes. Missing the today/next 7 days views on the iOS and iPados versions.
Love that you can tag notes. Would like to also see folders within the notebooks too.

Pretty good app for taking notes and managing your tasks. Unfortunately, the lack of a hardware keyboard support makes this app not really useful for business. This is mentioned several times in the reviews...but unfortunately it seems that Synology is not able or willing to change this. What I really regret ... because DS note certainly has potential.

Thanks for this wonderfull app, the only thing I hate is that the keyboard support is not perfect. My arrows (up, down, left, right) won’t work. They work in other apps, just not in ds note. Could you please add the support for these keys? Now I have to use the touch screen to set my cursor where I want to type.

Toetsenbord (SwiftKey) komt niet altijd op.
Na wijzigen naar hetbApple toetsenbord gaat weer het wel goed en komt ook het SwiftKey toetsenbord weer op.

Use it instead of other noteapps and am not dissapointed..
Pretty stable, but needs more functionality..
- more hierarchy options
- import / export / backup possibilities

Handig een alternatief voor Evernote. Het helaas nog niet perfect. Een foto uploaden crasht de app. Ook ben ik al een complete notitie kwijt geraakt. Zo is het niet betrouwbaar, hopelijk snel een update!

It's not completely finished yet and for sure not as 'polished' as Evernote, but it's nice to be able to save your notes on your own NAS. Integration of some task-list like Wunderlist would make the app even better.
