Discord - Chat, game en chil

Recently, Discord put an option to show message content from discoverable channels on web pages. It however removed the option to opt out, thus breaching the GDPR law. Terrible

Discord, I really like the variety of customization you give us! I really enjoy them. As a nitro member, I especially liked the beta feature of the 'typing...' customization as well. Though it'd only be perfect if there were more actions to choose from in the activity status, because now there's only 'playing, competing, watching, listening or streaming'. Storage wise, it'd be pretty useful if we could manage our own DMs message history, because it takes up lots of space.

Opening up the user menu in the latest version all of the buttons are unresponsive between quests, Nitro, shop and settings.
Update: has been resolved in a recent update, thanks.

this is a good app where you can chat with friends but i really want to see i can add soundcloud to my profile its just the same as spotify so i love to see it coming in the next update.

My account was banned because i was “underage” by the ai age estimation system which scans all your private messages even though i meet the minimum age requirements. When i try to submit a appeal it doesn’t let me, not ging a clear reason why. Customer support also doesn’t help, and points me to the in app appeal system which doesn’t work. Now i am falsely locked out of my account and i cant do anything about it

why do some people get the hiding badges update early, when i genuinely look like a npc badge collector

I’m 22 and they still say I’m underage plus the new age verification will change almost nothing so please remove it

Used to be good, but aggressive data collection, bloat, and absurd age verification methods have ruined it.

They have changed in their app that you must show ur age. Now I’m 19 years old, but they said I’m teen (13/17 years old). They are based on your Discord data use (text messages), what I find very interesting. Now I dont want to show my ID or Credit card out of privacy. This is very dissapointed while I have used discord for a long time since 2019, never had problems with it.

Moet mijn account verifiëren maar dat kan niet omdat ik mijn account moet verifiëren om mijn account te verifiëren als ik geen ster kon achterlaten had ik dat gedaan

I misclicked. Cant downgrade, app looks worse, is less featured, more ads and useless popups.
Just fire your designers. They keep convincing you to implement useless redesigns to keep themselves employed.
Your product was done 5 years ago. Just revert back, and itll be better for it.

I’m 18 and because Discord suddenly feels the need to spy on you and require to have your face or ID, the AI estimating my face permabanned me from my account. Great use of AI again, thanks guys

Im turning 15 in november and when i did a age check i got selected as -13 and my account banned? I literally emailed discord about how i can show my id that im not -13 yet no reply whatsoever. Fix your app

I use Discord for 4,5 years, I’ve got scammed and when I report him because obviously scammers are not allowed, Support isn’t there to help, I get an ai chatbot that’s just saying “you need to do it that way” but the bot doesn’t know anything and the ways he recommends aren’t working. Overall is it a alright app but if you don’t have any good support team as multimillion dollar company, it’s just a major letdown and just a very unsafe application because of that. I don’t recommend Discord anymore sadly, although I really had fun on Discord.

I literally put my email in it and it verify and now i can’t get in my account anymore for months

Honestly i think the biggest issue with discord is the
amount of pedo’s on the discord does literally nothing about it so if your around the age of 13-17 i would advise to stay away from it as things like whats-app or snapchat are honestly way better in terms of safety

Not cool bc I was making a acount and the makers from discord said we can not make a acount ugh sorry bud not a cool app for me
