Dark Reader for Safari

Somehow DarkReader makes websites very slow to load. It can take up to 4 seconds before a websites loads with DarkReader turned on. It’s not only here. I also experience this on FireFox. Performance is a issue this days for DarkReader.

Everything is suddenly “inverted”, Dark Reader makes websites white when i ENABLE dark mode on my iPad. Dark theme selected.
Disabling the extension fixes the issue. (And no, i have not enabled Smart Invert in accessibility settings.)
Happens on all websites…

This ONCE was the best dark mode extension. But now it doesn't work correctly anymore. Most of the time it ignores the On/Off switch. Even when switched off, it often continues to darken websites in a glitchy way. The only way to get around this, is to flip the switch on/off again, or sometimes you'll have to completely disable the extension. The problem is only on the macOS version, not on iOS. It'll go back to 5 stars if it's updated.

i watch a lot of movies on my mac and since This app is active subtitles are only visible with a black screen. Very irritating that the movies is unterapted for subtitles. With a turned of app no problems.

For someone who prefers a little lower contrast compared to what standard for a dark mode, the ability to change this is awesome. All websites I have tested so far look amazing, including online pds's. Unfortunately local pdf's don't work. Otherwise perfect extension

It works 9 out of 10 times but the price is honestly too high. It’s free on every other platform but on iOS it costs 5 euro’s.. Reduce it to €0,99 and a lot more people will buy this app/extension. If you use Dark Reader on all of your devices it is worth the money but otherwise I would just go with an alternative, free option.
Edit: Not working on DHL site. Google flashes white/black..

This extension is VERY good, but there is an annoying bug that need to be solved (on macOS version). Even when you have Dark Reader temporarily Disabled from it's menu, it still somehow continues to darken websites in a buggy/strange way. To work around this problem, you either have to:
1) Click Enable for this site, then disable again.
2) Completely disable the extension in Safari preferences.
The iOS version does not have the problem.
Will give 5 starts when the bug is solved.

This feature really completes safari as a browser. It allows for a certain degree of settings. Including turning it off and setting blacklevel for individual websites. The project is also open-source, which is always welcome. The only thing that can be improved upon is the esthetics interface

Using it on MacBook Pro and on my iPhone 12 and it works great on both. It’s customizable and it doesn’t break the user interface of the websites I visited. You definetely get value for your money.

Works very well on all sorts of sites. Very easy to customize. Using it also a lot on my Windows-pc. The only thing that i would like to see improve is the small delay that occurs when you press the extension button before the menu shows up.
