Some material is broken in the app, ranging from janky to non-functioning, but that is excusable since some of that is well over a decade old. The Ai, uhh, “features” that got shoved down our throats as soon as they could can be excused as just enthusiasm for the possibilities of a new technology and/or being scared of missing the boat, so that’s fair. But why, why in the name of all that is, has it been literal years, YEARS, and the app still doesn’t have the option to just save a course? The desktop site has it, the mobile site has it, yet we can’t have that option here? We can’t check what we saved either?

Such a good app. The of courses differ, but replacing scrolling with doing a certified course is great!

I really like the Coursera app, I’m right now studying while in a long train ride.

I started 2 series of specializations, both ended with failure to learn the last course to finalize this specialization, because they never start the last course again, which means the efforts I made for the previous 4 course in vain, wasting me months of time. Yes truly they can refund for the course that never started, but how about my time?

I have no one or where else to write so that they can finally answer me and help me solve this problem.
I wrote several times to the support service about the fact that I could not submit the assignment due to an incomprehensible technical error and therefore submit the assignment on time and move on to the next module.
I paid money for the course and was determined to finish it.
Please, be so kind and answer me how to be with this issue.

Ik haat deze app. Echt de meest walgelijke ervaring die ik tot nu toe heb gehad. €45.- wordt gewoon afgeschreven voor niets, deze app is niets, onoverzichtelijk, walgelijk, rotzooi. Gun jullie allemaal de k****r.

I would love to give 5 stars but noticing that it lacks a basic feature such as : favouriting a course or adding a course to “wish list” or to a “to do list”, which can be very easy and fun way for users to list some courses they’d like to take in the future! Another would be an option for a user to “gift” others a course/subscription. For example, I put Coursera subscription (one time payment course or monthly subscription cost) in my birthday wish list. Those who want to give me course/subscription as a gift will be able to get Coursera subscription voucher (which they can choose for 1 or up to 3 months worth of subscription costs) as a guest user, for example, and all they have to do is to send the digital “gift” to me. I think these 2 features would be really great to have!

Since I have started taking courses it only gotten easier for me to commit myself to learning.
Easy access and learned to time more efficient!

The courses are great and I have learn a lot, thanks.
I do want to mention the following:
The app is very unstable and has lots of bugs. Subtitles are not in sync with audio or of a different part of the video or other video. The UI is not in compliance of how a app is supposed to be designed for Apple devices. This in turn makes it sometimes unusable, when trying to type in the text field or answering a quiz.
And please make sure that all of the great options provided by Apple to integrate accessibility options are there for those that need these accessibility options.

The transcript dropped randomly, not matching the video. I cannot follow or find the correct transcript.

I was struggling to learn the science of writing. With the topics told here and practice towards, I am sure it will give me lot of clarity in not only writing but also putting my points across verbally as well. Thanks a lot !
Your personal examples also made it feel that the course is very real…

Could you add the option to save or favourite courses? Like a heart or something, so that you can come back to it later and not have to search for it again?

Thank you Coursera and BCG for this amazing course. I loved the interviews and would suggest if there can be more with the CEOs of the world companies sharing their own journey and experience.

There are several issues that I face regularly while using the app on iPad and iPhone. Some of them have been pointed out already as I see in other reviews.
- The app stucks when I open it after it has been in the background for a while. I need to always restart it.
- The quizzes appear repeatedly after I close them.
- The status/progress of the courses is not updated automatically. Sometimes, I have to restart the app to see an update in the progress.
- The app does not play the downloaded content when connected to internet. It streams it again.
I hope that you will work on improving the app.

I downloaded video but I cannot see them without good internet connection. What the point of downloaded function?

Hi, I love coursera as an accessable learning environment. On my iPhone however, whenever a wuiz pops up halfway through a video lecture, it just repeats popping up as soon as I click submit or skip. I just can’t get past this point and can’t finish the lecture due to it. I hope there’s something you can do about it :)

App doesn’t work if you want to use it with e-mail sign in instead off google or apple. Too bad.

I love Coursera, but greatly miss a feature to save courses for later study (wishlist). Now I have to bookmark courses I’d like to take, seems a bit outdated…
