Camera for OBS Studio

OBS doesn’t recognize the phone, used multiple phones, tried all “solutions” support doesn’t reply to emails. My iPhone 15 Pro also start overheating after 30 min of recording in 1080p 60fps. I don’t know what i’m paying for, would not recommend. The app isn’t reliable.

OBS Studio an open source and free? Bah! Don’t waste your time with this app or OBS Studio, you cannot use it if you don’t go Premium. Otherwise you’ll get a watermark all over your video, making your video useless.

I get a video feed on my mac, but the messages in the app saying that I should connect won’t disappear, even though it is connected and showing me a fees. Sent an email to the support address. Silence.. nit worth paying for and I’d like a refund

As the title says I’m having constant latency issues where I can’t get the image to sync with audio in OBS. Even with the audio delay set to 6000 I still had issues. It’s a shame because I actually paid for this app.

Works fantastic on my new iPad Pro camera as well as my iPhone 11. I hope the developers will continue to innovate and support the app. It is well worth the money, simply the best app for streaming! I’ve had a software development business for years and I can tell these people know what they are doing. If I find any flaws or quirks I will make sure to share them. In the end we all want this app to do well :)

Slechte aankoop, werkt niet met WiFi . Heb het echt geprobeerd met het installeren van extensie. Zeer omslachtig. Als ik de rekening via mail krijg, meteen herroepen.

We use this to output NDI signal into vMix. This app has some essential features that were lacking in NewTek’s own NDI Camera app, like:
* support for iPhone 11’s ultra wide lens
* the ability to rotate the device 180°
* support for 720p output instead of 1080p
* a mode to turn down the screen brightness to save battery

We are using this app on multiple iOS devices for live streaming with OBS. Very easy to setup and the app gets regularly updates. The app is cheaper that a new camera and the quality of an iPhone camera is really good.

We've streamed from an OBS setup with multiple webcams, gopros via Blackmagic input and multiple iPhones via usb. Very stable and solid when hotplugged. This product is being actively developed and improving rapidly.

2nd No Response
OBS Camera worked fine for about 30 mins then
the iPhone disconnected itself from iTunes and the video froze. I have done everything explained in the guide AND sent a crash log. Happened 3 times this week.
May 2nd Review - no response:
Developer says it will take a few days to respond to problems; I’m still waiting 6 days after sending an email. Was this a waste of a LOT of money?

About a 10-20 second lag. Makes this unusable for webcam.
Email would be a better solution!

Works great! But support for iPhone 11 Pro’s wide angle camera would REALLY make me happy

I use this app with the latest version of OBS in Mac OS and the OBS app keeps crashing

Update: would be great to use the ultra-wide-angle lens from the iPhone 11 too, tele and normal lens works fine.

iOS wired connection doesn’t work. Just downloaded the app and OBS Software on PC, already have iTunes. In the OBS software, I dont get to see the option for iOS device..
Could somebody help me?

I use Windows, and it might be a bit of a struggle to install it, i recommend using OBS 32 Bit, even if you have 64 bit. It might be confusing to install, but you need to install iTunes first on your pc in order for it to work. The quality is great!

18 euro for an app is a lot, but it works perfect with a usb cable and the quality is much better then a Logitech 1080p camera. So 18 euro for a “webcam” is acceptable

Short review: does what its supposed to do, had some trouble with initial setup, but realized I just had to force quit the app and restart it for it to work.
Settings contain options for setting the frame rate between 25fps, 30fps, 60fps & 120fps.
You can also adjust the recording resolution and bitrate.
At first I thought my phone would run out of battery, but surprisingly, if you have a usb port which charges as well, your phone will be at 100% after your streaming session.
Overall, a good app
