Artstudio Pro: Draw, Paint

This is a really great app, especially if you are familiar with programmes as Photoshop or CSP. It has everything a digital artist needs, including Sai-like color blending! I don’t get how many people sleep on this.
The only personal critisism I have is that brush resizing scroller is a bit annoying at times. More often than not I end up having to type the brush pixel size to get the right one. It goes from tiny to huge very quickly as you scroll, so it’d be great to fix that!

Hiermee hoef je niet eerst een zelfstudie van te maken om het te kunnen begrijpen. En dat is precies wat ik wil. Het is een duidelijk werkende app met heel veel mogelijkheden.

Als ik op mijn scherm click krijg ik automatisch een advertentie van de app over de versie waar je voor moet betalen ik kan er dus niet mee werken want ik krijg telkens dat op mijn scherm kunnen jullie daar iets aan doen

I used to switch between this app and procreate. There's pros and cons to both of them but at some point the brush engine and other features got so good in art studio that i now use it 90% of the time.
The best thing for me is how brushes render, if i import a photoshop pack i can expect them to look the same or better than on desktop

If you’ve been painting in photoshop (desktop version), you’ll be familiar with Art Studio Pro. This is a nice drawing/painting app! The things i wish that the dev add: - better/more elegant looking UI including the icons

I love everything but the undo button is limited to 20 steps back. Which stops me from using the app….

Things?!? Nah! Just that! I must admit that I’ve become a convert from....Procreate!

Terrible update, like you take my pencil and broke them al in pieces

This was THE photo editor/painting-app with the most logical desktop-like interface in the app store. It’s not anymore. The former interface was much speedier in use, with a bar at the bottom to set properties of a tool in use. Now, the vertical toolbar (most logical place) moved to a horizontal top one with a weird extra thingy to set up tool properties. WHY? Also, the menu bar takes extra space because of the weird toolbar position. Please give at least the option to move bars to preferred positions, now it’s a mess...

I have been using Artstudio Pro on the iPad pro for over two years. Compared to the first attempt of Photoshop for the iPad, Artstudio Pro is heaven on earth: wide array of brushes, magic wand plus excellent filling of selections, polygons, the rest, you name it, they have got it. Save it in the cloud in psd files and you can finish your work up, if needed, with Photoshop on your desktop.
Keep the good work up Artstudio!

I’m really in love whit this program, used the other version already for years, and no other drawing program can compare. There are still some options I’d like to see to make it perfect; I miss the force sensitivity of the apple pencil. And the 100% button which the non-pro version do has. It’s good to ‘take back a step’ from your work to have a overview in one tap.
Still, the rest of the program is outstanding. Best word the money spended on an app

Always thought my old Paintshop Pro would be my only and everlasting love.
Well, I’m not so sure anymore.

I really love the speed of painting, the brush engine and the awesome options to rival a desktop application. A little room for improvement regarding the autosaving pop-up, but other than that it’s an amazing art app!

Import from photos is missing, one of the most vital things if you want to edit your photos with this app. Why?

Again a great program. For years I work whit ArtStudio, and I’ve seen (and bought) many others, never found it’s match.
This pro version is even better. There’s only one little thing; the move/scale/rotate tool works way less intiutive than the ‘old’ one. No progression I must say. You have to push a button on evry move you make, in the other one you just did it al whit two fingers. I hope that’s a thing for the next update.
But must say; I reccoment this one to everyone !
Edit; tried to import images from the other ArtStudio whit Itunes, but it doesn’t regonize it

More selection options would be nice, like quick selection.
Some manual videos would be nice just to get you going
