MeerLogging in impossible, ending up in a log in loop, hence no benefits. Over the years the benefits also dwindled, cancelling my card after this trip.

MeerAmex is purposely selling you card with benefits that are nearly impossible to get. Hotels, restaurants, etc. - everything is locked behind tremendous complexity to discourage users to actually activate their benefits. Both the app and online sites are convoluted and not transparent, by design. Finding things is literally impossible. And the app, designed for global travelers, is exclusively set in the local language, in this case Dutch. This is a total piece of garbage

MeerFor a company called “American”, it is not available in English in the Netherlands. Result: I can’t use the app.

MeerDisappointing that for a global service and offering provider, that the app is not possible in multiple languages. I’m English speaking but because my region (where I live) is set to The Netherlands, I only have the possibility to use the app in Dutch. This significantly reduces my want and need to use the app.

MeerApp tells me to update and then the App Store shows no update! Now I’m caught in a loop and have to uninstall the app. And then needs a new two day validation for me to use the services. Expected better from Amex..

MeerVery disappointing that there is no English language available for the app, compared to the ICS Mastercard app it has the bare minimum of functionality. You can only see an overview of the transactions and have notifications. It’s functioning well but very basic.

MeerLook at the reviews. So many people would prefer English just to use the app. Sometimes I wonder if it’s a negative pattern used to make sure the least number of members can use the benefits. What are you playing at AmEx?

MeerIt’s literally a useless app. Bugs everywhere, not able to log in your personal account, and now everything has to go through this app which is horrible experience.Language also not changeable… I don’t why it exists… just literally switch back to website please if you are creating this hassle

MeerWould be nice if it is inclusive , not every user that holds the country Amex card speaks the local language, for example , ( one could have a dutch Amex account, but dont speak dutch , ) and the default and only language once (netherlands) is selected is dutch ,

MeerOne of the worst apps and customer services experiences ever. Not sure anybody cares about customer experience at Amex. Even services included in your tariff are hard to get or activate. Always have to clarify it via chat with an agent. And chatting is another story… :( spent several hours to get simple answer. Chat agents have good intentions, but very little knowledge. Very disappointing from a “premium experience” company.

MeerAfter authenticating it suddenly signs out and you need to start all over again. And for what? The only “experience” Amex offers is the offer to upgrade to a more expensive card. That’s it.

MeerAMEX you really need to work on you client experience. You offer a lot of things but nothing is clear and very vague. And when you try to find info it’s nowhere to be found.
