AdGuard Ad Blocker voor Safari

I have no idea how or why, but AdGuard turned my iPad 7 into a total piece of junk — until I deleted it. Ad blocking does not even work even though everything is enabled as it should. Some ads were blocked, but many were not — especially YouTube. It made browsing a horrible laggy experience and it seemed to put a high overall load on my iPad’s resources. Most sites turned into extremely sluggish and buggy pieces of junk after enabling AdGuard. I have switched over to another ad blocker which seems to work a lot better.

Idiotic that a company of this size is not managing to add their blocker to chrome on iOS

Since some time, it doesn’t block ads on Facebook and YouTube in Safari anymore. Filing a complaint did not result in a fix.

This ad blocker does its job with regular ads, but unfortunately, it doesn’t block pop-ups, which is what I really needed. Still decent, but not quite what I was looking for.

The application does not seem to work anymore with avoiding YouTube ads unfortunately.

Idk why but every since the new iOS 18 update my adblock is bugged or something? I have adblock premium and even some ads aren’t even blocked. I have uninstalled/ reinstalled the app multiple times and even used the debug mode but its not working besides the message “dns filter error” or this symbol ->

Ik heb een spel dat reclame’s nodig heeft en ik moest een reclame voor een upgrade en dat kon niet. Ik had dit ook op anderen apps getest maar daar kon het ook niet. Ik heb alles uitgezet ook instellingen enzovoorts. Maar het werkt niet ik heb het als laatst verwijderd maar dat word ook niet, en nu kan ik nooit meer reclame’s kijken

Blocks almost all advertisements on almost all of the websites. No annoying adds anymore. Especially for youtube via safari the app is near perfect. Sometimes it takes a few more seconds to load a YouTube video but for €5 a year and youtube without advertisements this app is a bargain.
Edit: lately the loading times for yt videos is increased to 10 secs. But it still works great for all other sites.

Sadly had to uninstall 1blocker due to frequent ads popping up despite ad blocking enabled. AdGuard works great so far on iOS and macOS

This is a Russian company that has established an entity in Cyprus to circumvent sanctions

Please add “synchronize profile/accounts” option, this is very important.
AND I want to config all settings ONE TIME over all devices.
And I have noticed on two iPads Pro’s, they have same version ad guard and they lack synchronization option too.
iPad 1: filters - ad blocking - 2/4
iPad 2: filters - ad blocking - 2/3 ?, because it was not added to filter.
iPad 1: filters - privacy 1/4
iPad 2: filters - privacy 1/5
See this again… so I have a good reason to beg you: you gotta add synchronization option!
I really hope you add synchronization option very soon.

Nadat ik een reactie las over slome performance tijdens het gebruik van Safari heb ik de app verwijderd.
Had ik al veel eerder moeten doen want na een jaar heb ik weer normale performance tijdens het browsen!

Vertraagt Safari aanzienlijk. Getest op een nieuwe iPad. Het enige wat helpt is volledig uitschakelen van Adguard om de snelheid terug te krijgen. Per site uitschakelen, werkt helaas niet. Dan maar een paar ads.

Zoals titel zecht werkt het de laatste tijd niet meer op YouTube

Safari ain’t usable with this extension. I don’t know if it’s Apple’s fault or AdGuards. But it becomes VERY slow with the standard filters enabled. Same on my Mac with their extension (even with the AdGuard macOS app itself).
Shame. Used to be very nice.

Adguard always worked perfectly until a while ago. It keeps telling me to go to the aA-menu to expand/upgrade adguard cuz my version of it is fhe old one? But i have no idea where to even find the aAmenu

I use Safari for Facebook and YouTube. It does not block ads on Facebook. On YouTube you don’t see ads but you do see a black window that lasts as long as the ad.
On my PC I use uBlockOrigin in MS Edge and that does block both, without black window.
