This is the best app I found till this day for running with an Apple Watch. All the options, and the map and navigation function is also working better than any other app in my opinion. My watch is fairly old ( Apple Watch 6) and everything runs smooth

Love this app! Every way in the woods is on this app. My walks are allot more fun. Works great on the apple ultra.

Not only the app is very good but if I have a question I always get a very quick and helpful answer from the developer. Lots of settings and possibilities available.

Had to remove the Watch app first and manually reinstall for route syncing to work. Had to digg on the internet what to do. Cost me 30 minutes to get it to work. Should work instantaneously for a paid app. Other than that, great app!

After a week of testing the app on my Ultra 2 I have to say that really love it. Still exploring all the functionalities. What I love about the standard apple workout app though is the possibility to start a workout using pinch gesture. Pinching in workoutDoors lets you scroll through the workouts instead. So you do need the touchscreen to start.

This is an app for iPhone / Iwatch users. The best in it's kind. One small request, i would like to see implemented in this app. Route navigation with voice option and/or simplified watch interface (arrows). So i have the "all in one" app. But nevertheless this app is worth buying. Keep up the good work guys.

I currently use an Apple Watch Ultra 3 and have been running with Runkeeper for ages. It’s certainly not bad. Apple Run was always annoying for me because, for example, I need to hear km/h and not tempo. And Apple refuses to listen to their sporty users. But now I’ve started using Workoutdoors, omg! You can just create everything you ever wanted in a running(other sports too) app. So many settings, so many views, so many options, it is unbelievable. The navigation is genius too, I can now just start running in the woods and not get lost or run too far or not far enough.
All the different statistics after the run are a joy too. Happy!

Wow, this is come handy for my hiking trails in the Dolomites. Turn by Turn heads-ups works great. Today i did a hike for over 8 hours and my Ultra2 had still 30% of battery life. The maps are easy to use, ones you know how to your files on your watch it’s a piece of cake. A lot of options, really a lot! It’s a good competitive to the other big watch/software company.

I’ve tried several apps for working out and this one is by far the best! Very customizable to your needs and although it looks rough around the edges it’s very functional and user friendly. I suggest taking some time to go through the settings and get familiar with the way it works before the first workout. Figuring things out while working out give bad first impression for the functionality of the app.
This is a must have for fans of any outdoor activity. Navigate through mountains from your watch or track your SUP adventures on a lake.
It does everything you want it to. Even if you have an activity that is not common you make make custom workout screens exactly to your liking while keeping the standard ones for more common workouts.
I’ve been using it for around 2 years now and I can’t imagine ever using anything else.

Cannot sync offline maps without turning off bluetooth on both phone and watch. Sending routes to watch doesn’t work at all. iOS 26 with ultra 3.

This is one of my most valued apps that I use both while exercising and hiking. Especially for the latter, it is unmatched! The latest update brings several very nice improvements, and although these are offered at no extra cost, I’m happy to voluntarily pay annually for this app because it’s worth it. Thank you for the development, and I look forward to new updates!

I’ve been relying on this app for two years for trail running and it never failed me once. The maps are invaluable and accurate. The amount of options you get is insane. Easily the best app ever for Apple Watch. No competition.

Dear reader, the new version is crashing on my apple watch ultra 2. This was the best app on my watch and now it seems to be unusable. Very disappointing since i am a paying user….please fix asap.

Unfortunately the Apple Watch app crashes instantly when opening the app, so it’s unusable..

Cool app with very detailed and customizable screens. Only thing i’m missing is to allow the “double thumb tap” (series 9 and up) gesture as a shortcut, would be very useful while my watch is water locked!
