WhatsApp Messenger

I’m extremely disappointed with this app. I have serious concerns about its potential interference in elections and the impact it may have on democratic processes. Elections should be fair, transparent, and free from manipulation or undue influence. Any app that raises concerns about the integrity of elections should be held accountable and expected to explain its actions.
I’ve lost trust in this app and believe these concerns deserve serious investigation. Developers should be transparent about how the app operates, how it handles political content, and whether it influences what people see or how they engage with elections. Until these concerns are properly addressed, I cannot recommend this app.

It is interfering in my country’s electoral process and harming our democracy by increasing the visibility of a anti democratic candidate with hate speech, in a partial, biased and manipulative way

A recent update added the sidebar to navigate to stories, chats, communities, etc. This sidebar takes up 1/3 of the window while being mostly empty. The ability to collapse or hide the sidebar hasn’t been added yet.

Ironic. My review was supposedly in violations of bla bla bla. .Whatever.
Sure! Apple and Whatsapp know all about that!
Takes on to know one!
All you do is violate!
Still think it is bs to have to verify your own , second account now and then.
Whatsapp Plus is nice ,i only wish you could change chatlist background as well.

Why did you guys consider putting in a privacy setting that let’s you not screenrecord someone’s profile, ever thought that someone might lose their family or friends and want to grab their profile picture from WhatsApp ?!

How can a huge corporation like Meta need constant updates like every 2 weeks. The app is still unreliable. It’s the only app that I have to update so frequently. Serious fixes need attention.

Since meta took over whatsapp the app has gone from a very user friendly app to a very unfriendly app. Every update since has been annoying unneccesary changes. Instead of a simpel app to send messages they keep changing it more to some social media app where you need to constantly change everything. For example my bio set in 2020 hasn’t changed since. Since they rolled out an update about a year ago the bio cannot beset permantly and has a time limit of a month. Meta really is making the worse since they took over. Its not that I have a problem with meta at all, just all the unneccesary changes to ‘improve’ (imo worsen) their good functioning apps

Gr. Appie
