Watch Tuner Timegrapher is an app for testing mechanical watches — both automatic and manual winding. It displays a frequency diagram of your watch and measures the rate, beat error, amplitude, and beats per hour (BPH).
The app uses your device’s built-in microphone or a headset mic to record the audible ticks of the watch.
For best results, use the app in a quiet environment. Background noise can affect accuracy — complete silence works best, though the built-in noise-cancelling algorithm can filter out minor sounds. The microphone must be in contact with the watch to clearly capture the ticking sound; ideally, place it against the watch’s crown during recording.

Great app!
Great app! It is a bit difficult to tweak to find the best setting.
It would be nice to have an automatic function to find the best algorithm with the microphone.
As soon as you have the best algorithm then it is fun to use it!
Nifty app!
After some adjustments and reading the instructions (don’t do it in that order) it works like a charm.
Good app but some bugs
When I want to increase the sensitivity from 12, when I click the plus button it changes to 2 instead of 13. Same problem with adjusting the lift angle.
