Recensies: Time Magazine Europe - AppWereld

Still crap app
After years I tried a new subscription to my beloved TIME magazine, and there new, updated app, just to be disappointed again.
The latest app update (15th of January 2020) makes me subscribe twice, does not download any magazine and even if I follow the steps TIME staff tell me to follow I only get error messages that downloading of the latest issue is not possible.
Does nobody test this kind of stuff before releasing it ?

Just Stopped Working
My preferred way of reading the magazine but from one day to the next just stopped working. Whenever I try to download a new issue I receive an error message. And the latest issue is there to buy for 4,99 even though I am a subscriber!

Buy a hardcopy
Used to be great, but as of 2017 it's terrible, it's back at square one user-friendly-wise. iPad functionality has been removed and the font size is way too small to read on an iPad mini. Of course you can pinch to zoom, but that's as convenient as reading a 4pt font newspaper with magnifying glasses. Buy a hardcopy if you like the stories, get the app if you like torturing yourself.

A satisfied customer
This app serves its purpose very well. I am a long time subscriber to Time Europe and wherever I go now, Time follows and flies high, with new and awesome web technology. I like it! It took me a bit of effort to get it to work with my subscription, but that was a one time investment an now I am a satisfied customer for quite some time already. Thank you.

Great app! But I'd prefer a Windows 8 version so I can finally ditch the POS iPad.

Not Retina optimized
The app works for me, and I can download issues with my all time access account.
But there are a few annoying things: please update this app so it fits in my iPads Newsstand, now I have a separate app, and that's not the meaning of reading magazines on the iPad. Secondly: it sucks that the artwork + text isn't Retina optimized, common guys, it's nearly 2013!

The font used does not make use of Retina
The font used is so vague and crumbly that it makes an annoying read. Why is no action taken? Retina displays are the norm on iPads now guys!

Not satisfied
Crashes frequently! I'm also unable to download more than two magazines, it'll just crash. And why no update for Retina display?
