This used to be THE perfect app that I recommended to everyone, but the ads really took a lot of the enjoyment out of it and were not smartly put in place. I’ve never ever felt the need to write an app review, but now I do. You get an ad of 60 seconds everytime you level up, which makes me not want to level up because then I’d just be watching ads 2/3rds of my time on the app, and also takes out all of the incentive to upgrade gadgets that make you gain more oxygen to level up faster, so that entire part of the game we used to enjoy is now neglected and even gives me anxiety (accidentally leveling up when I didn’t want to and get jumpscared by a LOUD advertisement). When you try to gain more oxygen by clicking on one of the plants very fast, this manipulative animated bird tries to fly in where you’re clicking, so that you’ll click on another full advertisementvideo for ‘free oxygen’. So the app is still kind of fun because you get to tend to virtual plants etc and personally that’s just my thing, but it isn’t the magical mind-soothing app that made your life better it once was. 4 stars for nostalgia and creativity but I should be giving 3.
