App werkt helaas matig, loopt vaak vast en mijn iPhone word erg warm tijdens gebruik van de app

De app functioneert niet meer.
Ik maak gebruik van een iPhone XR.
Als ik op de app klik wordt de app geopend en sluitzichzelf direct…

9 van de 10 keer start de app op met een zwart scherm en doet hij vervolgens niets meer. Het enige dat dan nog kan is een force close. Ik denk dat het komt door het niet kunnen laden van een paginagrote advertentie.

Zoals de titel zegt, als het werkt is het een fijne app, helaas loopt hij vaak vast en is hij vaak erg traag.

Since I bought Tapatalk years ago, I recommended it to everyone on the forums I use it for. Announcement of a VIP subscription excited me as I expected to be able to access VIP/premium/new options to even further boost my user experience. In reality, basic functions included in Tapatalk have been transferred from the regular to the VIP account which means service degration if you do not switch to VIP. This is extremely disappointing; as soon as I find an alternative for Tapatalk (free or paid), I will switch immediately. This is not how I expect to be treated as a customer; penny wise pound foolish.

Misschien is het niet iedereen bekend maar Tapatalk heeft in het verleden herhaaldelijk fora gekopieerd op hun eigen site zelf de baten van advertenties binnen te krijgen.
Daarnaast is het zo dat Tapatalk zich maar weinig aantrekt van de Europese privacywetgeving wat ook gevaar oplevert voor jou als gebruiker.
Support je je eigen forum dan adviseer ik deze app niet te installeren of te verwijderen.

Wel betaald 10,90€ maar de advertenties blijven komen.
Kontakt gehad maar helpt niets.
Verder goede app,maar nooit betalen voor VIP.

Blijft maar zeggen dat ik geen fb account heb en errors geven. Kunt dus niet inloggen en eigenlijk niks doen met de app

Ik heb per abuis een abonnement op tapatalk en lukt me niet om het afzeggen . Veel geprobeerd maar het lukt niet. Ik wil niet 1 jaar aan vast.

I have used the app for many years. Updated the it. Now you are forced to either accept all add rubbish or set your privacy settings for each and every one of the associates. Tens and tens of them leachers you have to shut off or opt-out.
Opt-out is a lousy way of misusing subscribers. Who wants to go to all of their sites to opt out?
It should be the other way around: opt in.
The app is unusable if you do not accept the privacy settings or change them.
It is not even possible to go to your preferences or do the upgrade from within the app.
Totally disappointing and ridiculous!
The only way out seems to be a subscription. But I wonder how much personal data is still shared with the add providers if you apply and pay.

So much for a good app. Killed by greedy investors, it seems to me.
And yes I know developing apps consumes a lot of money.

Company is not trustworthy.
I bought the full version of the app at the time. When they switched to the subscription model previous owners of the full version was promised a lifetime VIP status at the time, because they already paid for the app.
Now a few years later with the latest version they suddenly revoke that VIP status and want me to pay the subscription fee.
Inquiries about this from me and other previous VIP users get no response.
I am not willing to pay a subscription fee for this app that has become bloatware over the years.

This used to be an excellent (paid) app. When it became a freemium app, they offered their formerly paying members lifetime as free VIP status. However, over time, the quality of the app decreased, introducing new unwanted features (like inline ads) instead of fixing existing issues (e.g. with posting, or login problems). And recently they have told their longtime members that they had misunderstood what "lifetime" meant; according to the Tapatalk owner, lifetime ends in 2019, and lifetime VIP members are suddenly forced to buy a recurring subscription.
That's what I call bad business practice, and breaking your promise to your existing customers. Combined with the decreasing quality of the app itself, I cannot recommend it anymore.

Waardeloos, crasht continu, werkt niet en als het al iets doet zeer traag en onvriendelijk....
Was ooit een fijne app, nu niet meer helaas.

Niet leuk meer zoveel reclame je tussen de posts ziet. Upgraden naar de pro versie vind ik belachelijk duur. Wat is een alternatief behalve de browser gebruiken?

The most recent update seems to have removed the one forum I was still following from existence on TapaTalk.
The forum is still online through a browser though, so it really looks like TT broke something.
Still 3 stars as the app WAS awesome...

I really dislike the unannounced removal of the PIN functionality.
A long standing annoyance for me is that when you are watching images in gallery mode, rotating my iPhone to correct for landscape or portrait images just ends galley mode forcing me to start all over again.

I am a VIP user and used Tapatalk daily to visit the Omega Forum. Since today that is not possible anymore. The moderators explained to me that Tapatalk is not listening to requested improvements by the Omega Forum moderators.
"Its a long list, but basically its a vector for fraud, security breaches, associates us with illegal websites and is generally poorly run. We'vecomplained endlessly but they couldn't care less, they just keep doing stuff without our permission."
After years of trying to get Tapatalk to improve the issues, without any effect, they decided not to help out Tapatalk any longer. Now my main purpose for the app is gone!
