Spark Mail: AI-mailassistent

Eigenlijk 5 sterren, maar: het blijft jammer dat het er nooit van gekomen is om het ook in mijn taal uit te brengen. En wat ook jammer is en daarom die ene ster minder is dat ongewenste lieden blokkeren alleen kan met een betaalde versie, ik ben dankbaar met al de jaren kosteloos gebruik. Vanaf dat ik het in de gratis periode bekwam heb ik het naast mijn Apple Mail met veel plezier gebruikt en nog, maar als particulier kan ik er geen vaste lasten bij hebben, ik zou veel liever éénmalig een wat hoger bedrag voor de app betalen dan de maand of jaar bijdragen voor de losse onderdelen. Het kan toch eigenlijk niet zonder zo’n blokkade mogelijkheid. Gelukkig krijg ik niet zoveel spam en phishing op de hier gebruikte mail adressen, maar als het net zoveel zou zijn als in mijn Apple mail, dan zou het echt nodig zijn.

I was using Airmail for many years on iOS and Mac, but due to some issues looking for a replacement app. I am using the Free version of Spark Mail and must say I love it! All features I liked and used in Airmail are in Spark Mail. Keep up the good work!

Sinds de laatste update worden niet alle mails goed weergegeven. Sommige mails worden vertoond en worden daarna blanco als je ze even geopend hebt. Dit was nooit zo.

Unread cards gebruik ik als inbox. Maar vaak zijn mails weg in de lijst. Dan selecteer ik een andere inbox zoals simple list en dan zie ik ze wel weer allemaal. En kan ik weer terug naar unread cards met de goede mails zichtbaar.

Works great. Especially that it is made easy to block senders and prioritize sender. However, moved from Gmail to Fastmail and that combination doesn’t work well. Only labels in Gmail are supported. And calendar only with Google Calendar

Don’t having the option to have the most recent message on top in an email thread is an instant uninstall for me. So simple to implement. To bad.

Without any doubt by far the best mail app including brilliant features.

Why would you pay for sending and receiving e-mail if there is iOS mail Outlook and Gmail. That’s pretty *tupid

Update: still existing issue with iOS26: Email text disappears after 2-3sec after opening an email. Just blank…. Tried to use diagnostics to send to helpdesk, but when trying to send I’m unable to send it. No sending button, and the attachment is ‘see through’. Hopednwith iOS26 things would be better than 15… similar issues unfortunately

This used to be a very good mail provider. But after they try to make more profit with It. It has goten very bad. Links in mails aren’t working, attachments aren’t downloaden. I have to quit the app at least once a day and start It back up again.

When you try to reach Spark initially you get a person. But after the first standard reaction they stop answering. Mail to customer service is not answered. A black hole

The recent update (end of August) is a terrible update. It’s slow. Keeps reloading every mailbox. And doesn’t remember mail content or unread count. Please fix.

After using gmail for years I took the time to make the switch to spark. It takes some time to organize your new mail box. But the way spark treats mails as “done” and “not done” is so simple and so powerful. No longer is your mailbox an endless list of mails. The windows client is synced and gets regular updates and feel much better than working from a browser. Well worth the setup time!

Hele fijne en snelle mail cliënt voor alle platformen. Hele rustige omgeving en heel makkelijk (veel mogelijkheden) in te stellen. Gebruik m zelf op de iPhone en op Windows en ben heel tevreden
