SmartLife: Smart Living

As the title suggests, this app is barely usable anymore. I don’t want seven different AI app-suggestions in this app while trying to turn on the lights in the living room.

I have no need for ai. There is enough ai elswhere.
Works okay but still can't do anything about the display of icons. So when you have 20 lightbulbs you can only keep them appart by reading all rhe names

Op zich fijn programma, ook prima alternatieven. SmartLife heeft veel irritante reclame voor eigen abonnementen.

Bij Berichten staat annuleren dit moet zijn verwijderen.
App heeft vaak grote vertraging bij het updaten van de status van deursensoren.

Helaas na de update werkt de Blaupunkt robotstofzuiger van 2 jaar oud/jong ter waarde van €435 niet meer……….

The iPad app is broken since the last two updates. When clicking on a camera you get smartphone mode and the screen is only filled voor 10%

Previously I was using the Tuya app which is basically the same but due to the annoying ad banner on top of the screen I switched to the SmartLife app which showing no ads. But recently also this app start showing the same annoying ad banners on top of the screen which returns now and them when opening the app. It is difficult to tap it away as the little cross at the top right is hard to touch and as a result the ad opens unwanted. I’m not interested in paid subscriptions, so please make this go away!

Moeilijk om snel bij de juiste instellingen te komen, over-gecompliceerd! Niet zo smart dus.

All the faetues they build in this app is all so over the top that they miss there main goal, purpose. And because of that is is nor user freindly at all. I am using this app for several years now, so this review is based on quit some experience and not written by enthusiast dropout asswhole who just likes to be negative.
I am using only a Luvion Smart Optics camera. I do like the functionality of thus camera, but I absolutely don’t like this app which is needed to opperate the camera.
My advice for the devellopers of this app is to simplify the whoe interface and the way things are setup like carplay. I followed all the instruction and read the manual several times but it still does not work.
Also all those messages and advertisement which show up in “Assistend” can not be turned off. I do not like this ar all. I do not want these messages.
Also deleting socalled “Alarm” messages in the app is way to complicated. You should be able to select all the alarm messages in one click and to delete them with one click.
So, here you go, please thake notice of this and do something with the mentioned issues.

Alleen maar in app aankopen, je wordt ermee gespalkt. Heel vervelend en maakt de app heel veel minder plezierig. Ik heb me er een keer toelaten verleiden en dat is me ook heel slecht bevallen.

Please make an switch to put all AI off, home screen is full of this and I think many people don’t want this option as opt-in.

They put a giant searchbar we’re your devices are and some other icons and it can not be removed please fix this

De app heeft week programma instellingen.
Daarin zijn tijden opgenomen die niet op de klok voorkomen (90 u 30 min) en niet zijn aan te passen. Verder zijn er temperaturen als 240 graden opgenomen. Deze zijn ook niet instelbaar. Daarmee is de bruikbaarheid van de app wat mij betreft tot beneden het nulpunt gedaald. Ik zal me beraden of ik het apparaat wat ermee wordt aangestuurd zal terugsturen.

Why only landscape mode on iPad? Very inconvenient. You guys are quite stubborn. This is a much requested feature.

So I tried this several years ago before I would switch to HUE. Never switched, as I was happy. A lot of devices now. But now I am experiencing so many bugs. Especially the last year. Widgets not working without ANY real clue. (No, it is not updates). The app should be called Bug Life: Devices do not appear anymore, suddenly go offline or are unresponsive. The pop-ups for running a sequence in the app are extremely annoying. Widget are better as they do not throw pop-ups in your face. unfortunately, widgets do work 50% of the time. to be forwarded to a very unhelpful help-page. sigh..
Looks like I will be switching eventually..

Najgorsza Apka z jaką miałem do czynienia od dawna. Przy odległości waga-telefon 3m nie zapisuje danych a jak mnie wyloguje samoczynnie bo nie wchodziłem na apkę kilka tygodni to nie zapisuje w ogóle pomiarów i tak o to w ciągu jednego roku ważąc się niemal codziennie mam zapisanych 30 wyników. Brawo. Wspaniałe to działa

In grote lijnen doet de app wat hij moet doen. Helaas is het instellen van de timer. En vooral het opslaan van de gewenste tijden echt enorm lastig op mijn iPhone 15 pro. Geen idee waarom dat nog steeds niet makkelijker gemaakt is.
